    my w58 finally blew today.was on the way to trax making full use of the roundabouts and slammed it into second BANG, stil have all gears but it sounds like someones dropped nailr into the gearbox!anyone got on handy??or have anyidea wat ive done?

    i thought you had to alter the gearbox mounting plate aswell? the holes are in the wrong place so they are just made into slots to suit the new positions

    it wasnt me. was a mate. we were changing his clutch. i just rang him and he just said wiggle it about!

    got it now via mobile! just pull the clutch fork about up n down etc and it will eventually come out

    youve gotta get the clutch fork off. i forgot how though. sorry for the useless post! only done this a couple of weeks ago...

    bump! does the above seem right?

    not sure but its easier to just take the prop off aswell. make sure you mark the diff + the prop doughnut so they go back in the same place.could end up out of balance otherwise!

    took the car out. put the SET down to its lowest (this was 5)and the setgain to 14 then started to raise the one where you turn the righthand knob. it now holds boost and there is no spike. i can hear a ticking though, is this the solenoid working? how much is it meant to tick? also do i have to turn the SET back up or should i leave it?

    before i brought this boost controller i ran a manual one. it didnt spike with that. my new electronic one was working fine on a bpu supra before i put it on mine aswell. i think its just the settings

    cheers, im going to go back through the instructions tonight. ill try turning it off, do you hold the bottom left button to do this?

    the restrictor ring is 1bar. it spikes to 1/1.2 bar then drops back down to .8/.9bar. i think my SET is too high. its running a front mount, apexi cone filter, uprated pump(walbro), 3" straight through, double decat. greddy bcc. think thats everything... hopefully going for a drive in the dry later to reset it again. anyideas then people? cheers

    ive looked through varoius threads + googled this but i am still getting boost spike. is there standard settings for this boost controller so i can start again? 5spd bpu tt cheers
