Item:- 4x Advan AVSS Wheels (came over on Japanese import) Condition/Mileage:- good/fair condition, few kerb marks and scuffs in the paint as expected from used items Price:- SOLD Postage: can be organised at an exra cost Or Collection From:- Aberdeen Scotland Any other information relevant to the sale. Wheels are from my mkiv supra import, I have no other info on them other than the sizes, I've not driven the car with them on yet either as it's only been moved around on tow trucks for the last few months to the bodyshop etc and back wheels would best suit a good clean up or even a rattle can repsray, I want oem wheels so have no interest in these sizes Front: 17x8 ET45 Rear: 17x9 et38 Pictures: will take more once interest is shown in wheels as i'll need to get the car out of storage for this

hi guys, I am going to manual swap my supra soon and I just want to make sure I have the correct pile of parts ready for it the things I still need to buy are the spigot bearing for the crank, the manual plastic gear surround and leather gaiter currently my list is this: -w58 gearbox with slave cylinder and fork still attached -remote shifter from factory *suspect it's possibly a mkiv box anyway as the soarer it came from was an auto swap manual* -jzz30 soarer manual mount -w58 front section of prop without rear bearing -6 puck paddle clutch and lightened flywheel -clutch pedal assembly and clutch master cylinder clutch pipe is simple to make on the day of fitting can I use the middle bearing carrier from the old auto prop onto the w58 manual prop and just join it up onto the rear section of the auto prop using the auto bearing/flange ? the w58 has a digital speedo sensor which will just take the same plug the auto box has just now for the dash signal, i'll easily wire up the reverse light switch from the w58 into the supra rear light loom as for the wiring inside by the ecu, the last soarer auto to manual loom I done, I just cut the nsw wire as it was preventing it from starting, is it as easy as cutting one wire on the supra loom? or do you need to give it a separate grounding point? I remember something also about the 'sta' wire being joined into the nsw wire on the soarer loom to engergise something inside the ecu when it's in neutral etc.

love it mate, that's a lot of parts for the rear, I done this to my silvia a few years back and ended up buying adjustable arms as it was cheaper and they gave me the option to run an aggressive alignment setup on the car. sticks to the road perfectly.

little update, the car is now at the bodyshop having a full respray so it'll look immaculate I stripped almost everything off when it arrived at the bodyshop I took off the ariel, rear wiper, spoiler, anything else that would have kept it water tight until then rear spats are not going back on 16 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr bumpers held on with tie wraps, skirts off too 17 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr back on a truck to get moved over to the bodyshop 18 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr spent a full day and a half prepping the car for paint, had the rear wiper hole and rear ariel hole blanked off too, i'll just run a signal booster in the boot for that also during all this, I'd split the lights and painted the insides satin black 19 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr 20 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr 21 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr stevie the painter had an idea to rub down the lenses again and clear coat them with uv protection special stuff, looks amazing now 23 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr due to the old paint condition, it took a fair amount of rubbing down the car, this means it has now had a coat of high build primer to be sanded back again before paint 24 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr

got it sorted, bc emailed me back saying it's to do with maths for adding up duration apparently cams are now dialled in correctly
-
hi, can you pm me pics of this please Passenger door sill plastic £10 GS Motorsport supra sub frames £50 pair
-
yeah, I get that however why would they have it like that? why not just say 1* btdc? instead of -1ATDC?
-
hi guys, trying to setup my cams at the moment but I'm struggling to understand the cam gear sheet http://www.briancrower.com/makes/toyota/cam_card/bc_0331.pdf it says -1 ATDC intake open, surely this would be 1 degree before tdc? and the exhaust close -9 btdc? why have negative numbers? all I was hoping to get was a reading saying at such and such degree of crank rotation, the cam must be at full lift however, the sheet is only telling you when the camshaft should open/close, no center line for max lift?

ive provisionally sold the 1j I have now in the last few days haha decided on a 2j vvti tt engine! found one from an aristo and figured, i'll have to do the water pump and timing belt regardless so the difference there won't bother me, the loom's are not going to plug and play even if I got a 2j vvti supra loom so an aristo loom will work with providing power to b+ wires etc, the w58 won't last though that's the only thing
-
mot passed the other day not using it on the road until next year however as it's not the right weather to take it out, plus that'll give me time to swap parts and paint it without any hurry manual conversion parts started arriving from Toyota, I'm skint now haha 13 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr 14 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr manual trans tunnel (I do things properly) also with a bag of clutch pedal bushings etc 15 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr just waiting on the rest of the pedal assembly arriving from Toyota i'll likely just buy a length of braided Teflon lined hose and make my own clutch pipe up as it'll be better than standard
-
thanks for the replies guys I really am over the moon with the car and can't wait to start a journey with it! (no pun intended) they worth anything? I was thinking on changing, they're 235 tyres up front and 255 on the rear so should be quite good rim widths the underneath is still in fair nick for an old car, it's got no holes which is a good thing haha, it was all still mainly black from the original underseal when it first came into the uk so I don't have much to worry about, sometime in the future I plan to refresh the underside like I've done to my silvia which was a full nut and bolt drama, not as extreme as that but I'd like to powdercoat things like subframes and diff casings etc to keep it looking fresh the car only has 139 thousand kilometres on it which isn't a huge mileage for a 94 model. more pics to come later once I get them off the phone

Hello! My First Supra just going to keep this thread updated with how i get on with the car, i'd looked around for a long time for the 'right' one jdm import, active aero lip, oem plastic skirts and spats, gold toyota badges, all oem unmolested (even a stainless steel rep stock exhaust) so here it is after a bath needs alot of paint work as the top coat has peeled in areas also has some sort of aftermarket wheels on it eeeeeeek 1 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr underneath is good, few scrapes from coming off the truck as it wasn't a long bed, easily sorted with some fresh underseal also the front brake pipes are great condition too which is a boost first night in, changed the oil and a new toyota oil filter on 2 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr 3 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr 4 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr 5 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr bought these from toyota to put on after it's painted 6 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr the brakes were in a mess on the car, so i've changed 3 calipers, thank you very much james dron for the calipers also bought new toyota discs and pads 7 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr got them on, new brakes all bled and the new coat of underseal on the chassis a very rough quick coat of black paint, please excuse that as it'll be tidied up on the second coat and around the hub on the disc 8 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr unfortunately one of the bleed nipples on james's calipers had a leaked under pressure during the mot, so I've since rebuilt an old caliper that came off the car and put that back on now so it's due to be retested tomorrow 10 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr the car had a little almost missfire / stutter on idle so i'd replaced the plugs too 11 by Jonny McIntosh, on Flickr as for now, i'm waiting for the mot retest to be done and then it's off to the bodyshop for some repainting, potential full respray just in the factory colour though! also i've got a 1jz gte/w58 manual box i pulled out my mates soarer a while ago when i sold him my engine setup from another car
-
wanting the parts to put on the back lower rear 1/4's when removing the spats my car has oem rear spats and I'd like to take them off and just put on the original black trims any available?
-
yeah mate, the sump change isn't a problem as i'll have my old n/a one to use and I should also have a spare soarer one in the loft if i don't feel like drilling the oil return out. it's more the wiring involved that concerns me, would it be worth buying a pre terminated 2jz loom and basic stand alone ecu like a haltech rather than trying to find old second hand stuff that may not work correctly?
-
hi guys, so i've bought an n/a auto mkiv finally i'm looking at an engine for sale just now which is a 2jz vvti from an auto aristo i'm wondering, is there a write up somewhere that shows you the loom mods needed? i know that it wont plug and play i'm also aware that i'll need to change the water pump, fit a brake booster fitting into intake and something else to the engine to make it work in a mkiv shell i'll be doing a manual swap too as i have a clutch cylinder, clutch pedal and trans tunnel on the way from japan just now for the car anyone able to give me some advice or share a guide/knowledge on swapping them over? i can even repin my stock body loom plugs into the aristo loom if i can get a pinout diagram. also as for ecu's, what's the deal with making an auto 2jz vvti loom work ? i would just buy a vvti 2j manual loom and ecu if i could get one for a decent price and make my life 100x easier haha
-
hi, looking for the interior dash panel to fit around a manual gear stick for when I convert my auto.
-
is there a difference between them besides a sump?
