Yeah all good mate. Got the NTK mapped in and the car running nice and smooth. It didn't really make much more power with Ethanol as the turbos and injectors are maxed out but it is a lot more responsive. It span a fair bit on the dyno as expected so couldn't get a proper power run, best we could get out of it on that dyno was 768bhp. It made that at the hubs at Abbey Motorsport so it's a strong 800bhp.

Lol, just the one set of classics. They are the rears sat on tyres waiting to be swapped over.

Cheers guys, looking forward to it myself. I don't think it will make much more power to be honest as the turbos are pretty much maxed out and the 1000cc injectors cant be far off either. Time to get the tyres change to the old R888's for the dyno to destroy as it's going on the rollers this time, not a hub dyno... will be interesting!

Took a little trip to SRD towers yesterday to get my AEM AFR taken out which had a damaged sensor due to catching it on a speed bump as it was in a crap location. We welded a new collar in a better location and replaced the sensor with an NTK pinned straight to the Syvecs. This meant the last gauge in the dash was removed and as you may have figured, I like to keep things stock looking so we fitted a facelift clock in it's place as the hole was too big for the pre facelift one. Another little unique twist to the car. We also replaced the oil and filter, replaced the spark plugs as they were getting on a bit and gave it a quick pre Dragonball check. The car is now ready for ethanol mapping on Wednesday next week. I will update with the results.

Looks like I can make this now, all paid and looking forward to it. Better drag the car out the garage, Its not been out in nearly two months! -
Oh yes, always a big table booked for lunch.
-
Should be able to make this if I don't get another call, won't be in the car though.
-
Couldn't get it in on last weeks mapping session so it's now booked for 10th September.
-
Great work Dom, coming together nicely. Love the plate. You gonna have it ready for Dragonball as you don't want to have to ride in that fat Datsun again!

Don't worry I'm on it. I agree, it will be easier to keep the group together with less cars. This is going to be another epic Dragonball so come on people get signed up, you won't regret it, I can assure you. -

Cheers. Like Gaz said, if it's locked down whist on the road then it's fine. It's black but unfortunately I had to remove it to run a legal size plate on the flipper. Thanks Jim.

My job requires a certain amount of technical and mechanical skill so that would firmly rules Jamesy out.
