  1. Sorry for the delay Ellis, all done now.
  2. Sorry dude as much as I'd love to, I cant 100% commit to this until middle of May. If there is any possibility of getting in on this at later notice then hopefully I'm in.
  3. Thanks guys, appreciate the kind comments. Its good to be back behind the wheel, just hope it gets some good use this year. I'm sure we can link up at some point soon now the weathers picking up. It's got a flip front plate.
  4. So... after killing one of the turbos in September their now rebuilt, mapped and the car is ready for 2015. It will be going to SRD soon for a check over in anticipation of Dragonball. Managed to give the car a good run Saturday and what an awesome run it was, it drives better than ever and it cracks me up how many people try it on against the car... must be the number plate!
  5. No traction control for me either.
  6. Okay well there are four people after a spare ticket as far as I can see and the only way I can see fair is response to my post so the list is as follows. 1. TT Paul 2. supersizejim 3. Guigsy 4. Lui Because this isn't a guaranteed ticket as I may still be able to go, if any of you manage to get a ticket from someone else dropping out then I'll offer it to the next person on the list. Price for the ticket is as follows: Train ticket £95.00 Hotel ticket £150.00 Food Friday £16.00 Food Saturday £16.00 Premier Inn Ashford £69.00 Total £346.00 If anybody else wants to add themselves to the list then feel free. Cheers PS. Branner/Steve, Hope it's okay for me to offer this ticket last minute as I know it may cause you some bother. If you have a cut off date for me to offer this ticket to someone else please let me know... preferably Wednesday 13th...
  7. Nope, I put them trough the business so I'll get the VAT back.
  8. I'll give it another few weeks before giving the wheels a proper clean, in time for the better weather. Just give me a shout whenever, the car is stored at my work and I'm here most days at the moment but if you want to come out for a spin probably best to give me a shout on a weekend as it can sometimes be a PITA getting the car out on a weekday.
  9. Really good event this, be rude not to since its on my doorstep. 1. Ripped_fear 2. MRX 3. Jcbt + Chris 4. Hitbox Junkie 5. Branners 6. Wile e Coyote + Mandy 7. Slam+ karen 8. Steve.M
  10. There is a high chance I will not make this and will have a spare ticket which will include Euro tunnel, Hotel, Food for both nights and a room at the Premier inn at Ashford on the Thursday night. BUT... It will be a last minute decision as my wife is due to give birth on the 17th, if she drops before Wednesday 13th then I'm going! Not sure how to make it fair as there is a few people after tickets but can we make some sort of reserve list so I have people to contact if I cant make it. It will also be easier if someone else drops out for whatever reason.
  11. Sounds good to me. The Supra is all tucked away in my work unit. Your more than welcome to come and have a nosey if your passing.
  12. Ah yeah I know the one. I'm in Corfemullen also, just down Henbury View. Sounds better calling it Wimborne lol. So whens the car coming to town, We'll have to meet up.
  13. I'm afraid I can't allow you to do that... Two black supras with Classics in Dorset is just not on! Nice car, look forward to seeing it around.
  14. What... it's filthy! There's a few to choose from on there, not bad prices and the quality is good. http://www.sgs-engineering.com/hydraulic-jacks/trolley-jacks/tj2-professional-low-profile-service-trolley-jack
  15. Cheers guys. Decided it was about time I bought myself a couple of decent low level jacks ready for the annual wheels off OCD clean...
  16. Yeah I knew it wasn't going to do a power run at SRR, just wanted to check it over. It was a lot better at Devils last time I was there, span a little but held it well. We didn't up the boost so it's wont be making any more power, the injectors are at 90% and I wan't to avoid running the turbos at their absolute max anyway.
  17. No, still the same old rollers.
  18. Met Ryan at SRR today to check the map on the car and I'm glad I did now as the turbos are moving about 10% more air than before so it certainly needed a tweak. I think they've been on their way out for a while and DBv2 in September with ethanol just finished them off. We couldn't get a good power run on the dyno as always due to traction and I didn't want to kill the tyres but the car definitely boosts better and spools slightly quicker. We also did a fair bit of road mapping to fine tune the drive ability at low revs and the car feels better than ever. Next stop is off to SRD for it's annual check over.
  19. Lol, Thanks guys. Appreciate the kind comments. As some of you may know I've bought Dragonball tickets for May even though my wife is due to give birth on the day we get back lol, I couldn't resist... I'm hoping she will drop before so I can go but it will be a bit hit and miss. So for now the car is staying with me unless someone makes me an offer I cant refuse. Cheers, they came out better than expected to be honest. They are made by RING but not sure which model they are. The bumper had to be modified to fit them and it was a bit of a pig to be honest. It's not going to be easy to replicate. Have a word with Lee at SRD as he purchased and fitted them and may have more info for you.
  20. Finally got round to refitting the turbos last week. The turbos were rebuilt with genuine parts and refitted with all new studs and gaskets. Yesterday was the moment of truth, firing the car up after four months and testing the rebuilt turbos. It started straight up good as gold and was left running to warm up and check for leaks etc. Took it for a run on low boost and it drove perfect, got back and check for leaks etc and all was good. I'm meeting Ryan on Tuesday for a quick once over on the mapping. It shouldn't of made any difference as the turbos were rebuilt like for like but it's always best to check it over. It's certainly a nice feeling to be back behind the wheel again.
  21. Thanks for the kind comments guys, I wish I could keep it forever but it's just not possible. I also hope I dont have to break it as that will be a massive loss of a great car which is why I got the turbos rebuild but not everyone has this sort of money to spend on a toy and I won't have it sitting around on sale for ages. I doubt I will to be honest, it's taken me a long time to come to this decision. If I was loaded I'd just mothball it for a couple of years and keep it forever... Thanks mate and I know I won't which is why it's a very difficult decision but family comes first.
  22. Well unfortunately I think I've come to the decision to sell the car. As much as I'll regret it, life is just getting too busy to give it the use and attension it deserves. I need to be realistic that it's highly unlikely that I'm going to make Dragonball next year due to birth of my second daughter and I need to take some time, and money out to spend with the family. I've still not managed to get the turbos on yet but as soon as it's back up and running I will do the sale thread to ensure its ready for viewing. I'm posting this here first as anybody who loves this car will already know most of the info going in the sale thread from reading this thread. This truly is an epic car with a great low mileage history and is a testament to how well built it really is, it will be sorely missed but life moves on. If anyone is genuinely interested the asking price will be 30k, I am open to sensible offers and may even concider part ex on a stock TT6.
  23. Yeah suppose I'd better take some of the blame.
