  1. Yeah I absolutely love it, It's a great car to drive. The compressor stall doesn't happen all the time and you can drive through it so it doesn't bother me much.
  2. Me and Lee took the car to Abbey Motorsport today on their hub dyno for Ryan to iron out some issues and to get a power figure. The car made just shy of 700 HP (697.7) at the hubs which I'm very pleased with. Not sure what's going on with the torque. The spike in the graph was compressor stall on the turbos which happens occasionally, Still need to do a little more research on the cause of this. A few pictures of the car at the dyno. When we got back I bugged Lee to fit the diffuser. Not the best pictures as there's alot of reflection from the lights, The paint is flawless.
  3. I don't have any pictures of the diffuser painted yet Rob. I have seen it and it looks fantastic, You really need to see it. It's not being fitted until after the dyno on Tuesday.
  4. I'm Looking forward to getting it back. I've decided I'm not going to work tomorrow or Monday.... Hub dyno Tuesday. It better not be a picture of it fitted or I may need to have a few words with Mr Perryman. It does look a little sexual doesn't it. Not sure I car bring myself to part with the bonnet, It's just another part that makes the car unique.
  5. Few more pics of the engine boxes fitted. The diffuser wont be fitted until after the dyno for ease of jacking the car up. The dyno is now booked for Tuesday 13th.
  6. Thanks guys. The car wont be changing much more now, It's pretty much just how I want it. Getting some Paint done in the new year so need to decide what to do with the front lip. Paint or not, Ears trimmed or not. Also need to decide on the bonnet as I really fancy a UK bonnet but like how my bonnet is unique. Got some of Danes Floor mats on order as well. They should go well with the red accent in the interior.
  7. Thanks mate. Will try and get to plenty of meets and shows next year. It was because I said it worked well and he can only take my word for it as I don't have relevant technical date to support my comment. Just pointless posting. Thanks, Really appreciate that. Looking forward to the progress on yours mate, It's shaping out to be a great car.
  8. I'm not claiming it to be the best diffuser ever made. Just that in my opinion, It does what it says on the tin. Shy of me taking it to a wind tunnel you will just have to take my word for it.
  9. Cheers. It's going to Abbey Motorsport on the 12th as it's closer. I will get the results up once done.
  10. The car was originally built by Front Row in Japan as a top speed demo car. The original diffuser was also made by them to keep the car stable at high speeds and it works very well which is why I wanted it reproduced. Ryan also said This is the most stable Supra he's ever driven at high speed.
  11. Cheers guys. The boxes and diffuser have been done as a one off at the moment. It's up to Lee if he wants to look at reproducing them in the future. The only issue with reproducing the boxes will be that every car is different with various parts in the way.
  12. Update The car now has: - New carpet as the old one had been cut for a roll cage. - Passenger recaro seat fitted. Finally got hold of a passenger bride rail. - New stock fuel pump hanger with uprated pump as the triple hanger and three pumps were a little overkill for the new set up. - Engine bay boxes finished and painted 202 black. - New custom rear diffuser finished and painted in 202 black. Their not fully fitted and Crap Iphone pics but a little sneak preview at the Engine boxes now painted in 202 black. I asked Lee to make me a new rear diffuser based on my old one. My old one was slightly damaged and the mounting points were crap. Couple of pics before it went to paint. Big thanks to Simon (Baldy) who did the paint, It's flawless as always. I will get some pics up once Lee has fitted the boxes and diffuser. The car is booked in at Abbey Motorsport on the 12th Nov on their hub dyno for a power run and for Ryan to iron out a couple of small issues. I will get some pics up of the day and the dyno plot once completed.
  13. 14. steve.m. Loads of pics and spec in my garage and in the thread in my sig.
  14. Was good to chat mate. You don't need the classics, The wheels you have on now look great. What you do need is a nice set of facelift lights, Think I know of a guy who has some for sale.

    Lee at SRD

You can't get better than the SRD treatment.
  16. Pack it in, you! Lee, You need to watch this one, He's trouble. Cheers mate. This is the only instance I say a fat arse looks great. Love your new wheels, Absolutely transformed the car. Just get ready with the paint when the spats come off!
  17. Good point. Cheers mate. I actually like the bulge in the bonnet even though I don't need it. I do need some venting in the bonnet so I'm undecided weather to modify the bonnet further or swap it for a UK spec. Thanks mate. Think its about time you dropped your car off to Lee, It's evolution. Yeah, You got to keep the creature comforts. Makes the car more usable.
  18. Cheers mate. I don't use the A/C much either, I just knew It didn't work so thought I'd better find out why.
  19. Small update. Finally got round to checking why the A/C wasn't working. Turns out it works a lot better with refrigerant in it! Quick vac out and re-Gas and all was good. Took the car back to SRD today to get the engine boxes finished off as well as a few other little bits. Lee will also be taking the car to the hub dyno at TDI for a power run and get Ryan to tweak the map a little. I will post up the graph once done. On the way to SRD Gracing the new SRD workshop
  20. No, Their Greddy TD05's. Slightly smaller than the HKS I think.
  21. I'm still very new to the setup but the main attraction to me is the progressive power delivery which aids traction, There's absolutely no point having high power if you can't put it to the tarmac! I can put full power down in second gear with minimal loss of traction, Obviously the 315 R888's help with that also. The car is an absolute animal on boost and spools extremely well with very little lag but they are only little turbos. full boost around 4300 RPM. In comparison the turbo I had on previously saw full boost at around 5800RPM. The only issue with the twins at the moment is something I think Lee described as compressor stall, Which I believe is something to do with an air unbalance between the turbos. When under load in high gears the turbos start singing and loose power. I need to look into this further to understand it and potentially find a solution.
