  1. Thanks James. It's difficult to know where to stop with the budget as you've got your bank balance on one shoulder saying your spending to much and Lee the tuning devil on the other! Looking forward to seeing yours come together, It's a great looking car.
  2. Cheers Johnny. In the next two or three weeks hopefully. I'm not in a major rush at the moment as its not really the weather for a 700rwhp car. Takes a bit of spooling up but when it got there it liked to try and break your neck.
  3. Great build, reminds me of mine..... just with quicker updates. Watching the car come together is the best bit. Can we do mine again?
  4. CCW Classics. 10”x18” Front. 285/30/18 11.5”x17” Rear. 315/35/17
  5. Cheers guys. Thanks andy, appreciate that. Lol. That turbo did look good, people were absolutely stunned when I opened the bonnet. No good for street use though and tried to kill you every time it came on boost! Hows that Porche of yours mate..... Chopped it in for a GTR yet?
  6. Lmao, I've got my work cut out if I want to try and beat yours in a show and shine.
  7. Some say he wonders the night working on peoples car without them knowing. Thanks guys. I was looking back at the beginning of the thread at the engine bay pics and its transformation from huge single to big twin. forgot how massive the old turbo was.
  8. One pic of mine and three pics of yours, Your such a show whore! Will get a copy of this tomorrow.
  9. He deserves the recognition, I couldn't be more happier with the way my car turned out. We have to showcase his work as most of the other SRD built cars have been stripped for parts.
  10. Nothing to see here Mr Perryman.
  11. I thought that but tried it there and it seemed a bit in you face and didn't look right. Was also contemplating putting it under the bonnet but Lee has taken all the space with SRD plaques everywhere. Cheers mate. Best looking after market steering wheel in my opinion, just well overpriced. Cheers Rob. Thanks mate. Wouldn't of thought it would be that much, more like 800bhp I would of thought. Not forgetting I'm on a hub dyno, not rolling road. 1000cc should be fine at that power.
  12. Done a deal with hodge on a swap of injectors so will soon be installing ID1000 injectors, changing the fuel lines and installing a second fuel pump. This means another trip to Ryan for mapping and could potentially see a little more power as he had to pull back on the boost last time as the fuel pressure was dropping off. 750hp at the hubs could be fun if it gets that far. Finally relocated the Front Row plaque which was originally on the glove box gauge pod but has been in the glove box since removing the gauges. Not 100% on its location but it will do for now. I've also updated my garage with more spec and pics, Most of which can be found in this thread.
  13. You'll need a high vis and breathalyser by law in France, Not sure on front plate but would be pretty sure it's law over there. Would love to come to this but the wife wasn't that impressed when I said I would be going to France for the weekend 3 weeks before she is due to give birth.
  14. Yeah I could do fleet although the services tend to be fairly busy there. Could also do your area as I can shoot straight up the A34. Still quite a trek for me as I'm right down on the south coast so don't pick a location to suit me. Would be nice to see if others are interested in a meet and their location.
  15. Surely you would want to stretch that GTR's legs a little more than that. Would be good if we could organise something a little further this way. Like you said maybe north Hampshire. Still a bit of a trek for me but not much interest for a meet in my area last year and would enjoy a monthly meet.
  16. Sorry Rob, What can I say......it's just not working out........ It's not you, it's me.
  17. No problem mate, The power is very addictive. The fuel bill is in the post.
  18. Congratulations Rob, On replicating and improving a great looking bonnet. It looks fantastic.
  19. Thanks mate. Would love to mate but It's a hell of a way from me, 260 mile round trip. May come along again sometime as it's a great meet but little far for a monthly meet for me.
