  1. Lol, you know I'm worth it. I think they kinda guessed by the plate and looking under the bonnet that is was a little more than stock.
  2. Oh yeah, just thought I'd add that there is a Nissan garage right next door to Toyota and these pics were taken whilst standing in between a couple of very nice GTR's.
  3. Thanks mate, not much I'd want to change on the car now. Cheers mate. They were great, even moved a few car out the way for me.
  4. Whilst out at the weekend I took a trip to my local Toyota dealer and asked the manager if he minded me taking some pictures outside the building. They were very accommodating and here is the results.
  5. Lmao, that is exactly what I thought when looking back through the pics but that wasn't my intention... honest.
  6. Took the car out a couple of times at the weekend and absolutely love the way this car drives. It's so smooth at low revs around town, Not too loud, almost inconspicuous. Then you hit the loud pedal and all bloody hell lets loose! Fast spool and great power delivery. Just want to say another huge thank you to Lee at SRD for building an amazing set up on the car and Ryan G for mapping it to perfection. Here is a few pics of the car outside, after my cleaning mission and before getting it dirty.
  7. Thanks Luc. Thank you. Looking forward to your build progress, sounds like you have some great plans. It's good to still see people with the passion and more importantly the money for big builds.
  8. Thanks guys. I'm glad it's done, feel like my arms a gonna fall off!! I'm really happy about the bits that could do with some paint as well, you can hardly even notice them now. I does come in handy mate, although I do get a bit twitchy with people coming in and out during the week. Now the cleaning is all done the car can go back home into a much smaller garage. It's also good for taking unusual pics.
  9. The OCD cleaning mission is now done, It's only taken nearly three weeks! Told you I get carried away. boot and door shuts all cleaned up. headlights polished. Interior all cleaned up. Bodywork now complete. I will hopefully get the car out this weekend and take some better pics outside. I cant drive it anywhere though as it might get dirty!
  10. Oh balls!! Got a wedding on Sunday. Looks like it could be a good meet.
  11. Great transformation on the car Adam, looks fantastic. Could do with some smoked side repeaters in my opinion, if it's not already on the list.
  12. Thanks mate. Why thank you. If I do it with my left hand it feels like someone else is doing it. Cheers Adam.
  13. More cleaning!! Nearly there now. Gave the rubbers and seals a good seeing to today. Started with a light rub with some glass/plastic polish to remove the grime and finished with some back to black. Before After I then made a start on the bodywork. Started with a swirl remover, then polish and finally waxed. All Meguiars products and all done by hand. Before After Hopefully I'll finish the bodywork tomorrow and then it's just the interior to finish.
  14. Cheers mate. I know how you feel having owned my own business for the past five years, it can be really tough at times and likes to kick you in the nuts at unexpected times. Chin up, if your good at what you do it will pay off. I bought this car as an already done single turbo with some great parts on it. It Had already had loads of money thrown at it but it wasn't the set up I wanted. (I knew this when I bought it) Thinking It wouldn't cost much to change the set up I set about changing it. I got a little carried away and Circa £15k-20k later Its now back as a twin turbo! It's great fun building a car to you own spec if you can afford it but the next owner in line will always benefit. You never know, I'd love to still be the owner of this car in a years time. Thanks mate. The car has a bucket load of top end/desirable parts and would break for well over £30k but I really don't want to see this car broken. I will do my very best to keep it but sometimes a decision like this just has to be made.
  15. Thanks Gaz. I know, hopefully I'll snap out of it. Thanks Chris but It's not for sale yet!! I know what your saying, were all Supra enthusiasts here and rate them very highly but I would of thought that if someone would appreciate the car for what it is and be prepared to pay for it, then it would be on here. It would be a very different thread if posted on something like Pistonheads. So do I, thanks Havard. I know what your saying, just maybe someone out there with some cash in there pocket would appreciate the car for what it is and be willing to pay for the car complete rather than forking out double to build something similar. I would have to try that option first. It wouldn't get to £20k, The decision to break would come well before that unfortunately.
  16. I really don't want to sell, it would be gut wrenching. Will do, now please stop showing interest as I can feel regret looming already!
  17. I don't take these figures as a snipe at the car at all, they are peoples honest opinions which is exactly what I'm after. It's obviously not what I want to hear and I could not justify selling at that price but I can understand the reason for their valuation. It's hardly a ludicrous question Chris. I know it's only worth what someone will pay which is why I put that in my first post but there is no harm in asking for peoples opinions, this is a car forum after all. I'm not asking people to make me an offer on the car otherwise it would be in the for sale section. I do agree with that one. I'm kinda not looking to sell at the moment but the thought has crossed my mind due to personal circumstances which is obviously the reason for the thread. The paintwork is next on the list to do but I don't want to rush and get the paint done if the car is going to end up in bits.
  18. Don't worry I wont at that price!! It would have to be broken. The car has got to worth more than that to someone. Otherwise someone could just buy it, break it and easily make 10k! I do see where your coming from though with things the way they are at the moment. Jamie's was only up for sale for a matter of weeks, If he was prepared to wait I believe he would of got close to that figure eventually
  19. I was going to put something in my original post about a GTR but figured it would end up being mentioned anyway. I will not be selling this car for a GTR. I'm not denying they are a great car and may one day own one but I personally would rather have my supra at the moment.
  20. Thanks for your opinions and kind comments about the car guys. I hear what your saying about breaking but I don't know if I could bring myself to do it, It's also a lot of hassle. The parts section has been flooded with cars breaking in previous months and even some parts are struggling to sell. I was also of the opinion of £25k-£30k but would be prepared to wait for a sale. Less for a quicker sale. Nobody ever expects to get their money back when modifying cars and I certainly wont, I've spent a bloody fortune on this car.
  21. Hey folks. First off, I’m not selling the car... yet! If I had my way I would keep it forever. This is just an exercise. What I am after from you kind people is general honest opinions on what the car is worth. Now I know it’s only worth what someone will pay and not at all what it should be worth but I’m just after some views on its sale value. Please bear in mind the car has quite a few bespoke, desirable and discontinued parts. It was converted at 72'000 Km (45'000 Miles) and now reads 73'439 so it's only covered 1500 miles since being converted. The car also has some Japanese paperwork history if you can read Japanese. Now, in the cars current condition it could do with a little paint work to make it perfect, this includes a small ding and scratch on the bonnet, rear quarter panels marked from spat removal and the spoiler needs a repaint due to a couple of marks. With me being a bit of a perfectionist, there is a couple of other little marks but nothing major. This is all next on my list to do when funds allow. Other than the above, the car is in superb condition and very well looked after. Most of you know the car but for those that don't, its history has been fully documented since it came over from Japan here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthr...e-Wangan-Supra Here is a few current pics but there are loads of pics in my thread linked above and in my garage.
  22. Thanks guys. Next on the cleaning list is the bodywork. I wanted to get some paint done before the summer but funds aren't allowing for that just yet so I'm thinking that if I can make the bodywork as shiny as possible then people wont notice the bits that need paint. Cheers Abz. I removed the HID lights fitted to my car had when I got it, their just not for me. I'm yet to see a decent aftermarket HID kit that in my opinion, doesn't look a little out of place on the Supra and tend to blind oncoming traffic. I also find the build quality of most aftermarket HID kits pretty poor and they never seem to last long. If you read up on the PIAA bulbs, they are a little more than just the end painted blue. I've used them for years and in my opinion, they are the next best thing to running HID. That next show and shine trophy is mine dam you. Best get your wallet out then mate.
  23. Thanks mate. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HB3-PIAA-XTREME-WHITE-HEADLIGHT-BULB-TOYOTA-SUPRA-93-97-/310436627482?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item484777041a These are the ones I got but I didn't buy them from Ebay, I got the from my local Motorbitz as I get a good discount.
