Thanks mate. What you trying to say, I'm crap with the camera?
-
I thought it would be you to pipe up and say that. Vauxhall Corsa SRI I'll have you know! It was a struggle but I just got ahead of him.
-
No videos unfortunately sorry. Vidoes = evidence.

Great to see the old girl back out and getting some attention Paul. Look forward to seeing it again at the weekend.

No didn't go that way, the roads down there are a nightmare with holidaymakers this time of year. Thanks mate, will do.

So, I've finally pulled the car out the garage at the weekend after nearly 8 weeks of neglect and it was bloody filthy... well to my standards anyway. She fired up on the button as if I'd only used it yesterday. Excuse the pink garage door, I've lived here for over five years and it's always been on the list of things to do! Decided to give it a good run and terrorise the most of Dorset's road users, as well as upsetting a poor chap in Lamborghini Gallardo. Took the car to work, gave it a quick wash and put it inside. Then spent most of Monday giving it a good polish and wax ready for the Anniversary meet at the weekend. Looking forward to giving it a good run.

They rubbed like hell at that hight Adam and the CW suspension only had 3 large increments of adjustment which is why I changed to the Tein Flex. You also need to give the car some room to squat when you put the power down. I personally wouldn't want to go any lower than mine sits now on CCW's.

Thanks mate, it certainly has gone through quite a transformation since then.

James' 1997 RZ VVTi T88-34D Single Turbo - Respray and new CCWs [pg 32]
steve.m replied to James's topic in Supra Chat
The car looks fantastic James, you got to love the Classics. Enjoy the pick up today. -
Thanks, It's great that the car gives inspiration to others. Happy to do another shoot at some point. Not sure my money is safe anywhere near the car, It incinerates the bloody stuff!
-
Lol, I know I'd miss it Mark. Think I'll try and take it out this weekend, that'll sort me out for a couple more months. Will hopefully get to another Bluewater meet at some point. Wish there was a monthly meet a little closer.
-
Lmao, I did have one but let someone else with greater need take it as that's just the kind of guy I am. Thanks mate, I defiantly know I'll regret but it just seems a waste just sat there. Got an apprentice already I'm affraid. That's the issue Luc, I don't have the time. Yeah I know what your saying which is why I've kept it this long, It's just an expensive toy to not use often.
-
I would love to but I just don't have the time at the moment as work has gone mad with this weather. Don't think I've done less than a 12 hour day for the past three weeks! The only time were not that busy is winter... I think I should sell the business rather than the car.
-
I know! Thanks mate, was a great location. Yeah may well do that mate. Thanks mate. Saw the pictures of yours on FB with the wheels on, looks fantastic. You got to love the classics. Cheers mate. I know but life is just so busy with work and family at the moment and I hate that the car is just sat there not getting used, It's a waste.

Now the magazine is out I can put up the pictures taken by myself at the shoot. Might speak to Banzai and see If I can get my hands on some of the pictures the photographer took for keep sake as there gonna be a hell of a lot better than mine. Unfortunately I'm getting that selling feeling again, must be something in the air. Think I need another road trip!

I have this pic if it's any use. It's not on grass and I have no idea about resolution. This pic has been down sized for here but the original could probably be emailed.
-
Thanks mate, got yourself a mention in there an all. I have a bit of a thing for classic fords, I've owned countless Capris since I started driving up until I got my first Supra. I love the long bonnet and the uncontrollable power at the rear wheels much like the Supra, It was a bit of a flippant comment. Thanks Rob, can't believe you've got your car in Banzai twice within 12 months... your such a show whore! Thanks mate. Cheers mate. Next project... 2JZ Capri! Cheers.

Thanks Adam, your cousin has good taste.

Thanks James. Hopefully we'll get to a central meet together at some point, wouldn't mind a peek at your new car when it arrives. Lol, that would of caused a little more than grubby finger marks!
-
Had a great day at Japfest 2 although I did get a little cooked with the weather. Here are some pictures of the car at the show and some scantly clad women who left dirty finger marks on the car!!
