Hi, I have rear light warning showing on dash and as per previous posts, rear lights - side & brake working OK.From previous posts I am assuming it is the relay that is added to enable fog lights to operate through rear lamp cluster. Qustion !.Where is the most common place that this relay is fitted (as I cannot sem to find it)? Question 2 - where is fuse block situated and has anyone got layout of fuses? Many thanks James

Hi , does anyone on the forum own or know somebody who drives an SL55. Reason for the question is that my wife wants one, but she is a high mileage , motorway driver and I need my fears allaying that although awesome in power , it is useable as an everyday car Many thanks and all who read this post, have a SAFE and Merry Xmas

I am about to have my J spec perspex headlights replaced, if the bracket you are talking about is on these , you are welcome to it - but will not be available for another week or so

These cars were the super car of their time and some would argue still are.They are affordable to buy , mainly as a function of depreciation and lack of awareness (apart from forum membership). The irony is that their affordability will be their downfall.If you can't afford the mpg, can't afford to drive to a specialist to fix a fault etc etc, where is the enjoyment!! So that reasonably priced supercar, could languish poorly serviced, little driven, tweaked by people with better knowledge than the total R&D might of one of the worlds corporate giants - a standard, boreing, well maintained, often driven example will indeed be rare!!!!!

......members, did not want to spark off a "he is cheaper than him debate" just to recgonise somebody who presumably doesn't need to help, does and does so that we can keep this fantastic car on the road ... that was all

The logic was, did not want to pay £800, £500 from Nic a great price but cannot wait the 6 weeks for item to be delivered, hence Radtec at circa £500 and only 15 days delivery.

Would have used Nic but cannot wait the 6 weeks for delivery into UK, my bad planning, unfortunetly.But thank you anyway.

Spring is coming and time for the Supra to take to the roads via bodyshop and Pheonix Engineering in Watford. However would like to praise Steve Manley of Inchcape Toyota - ordered OEM perspex headlights 1100am on Wednesday arrived 0930 today - Total cost £404 Was going to order SMIC - want to keep mine standard as possible -but at £800 odd pound was going to do that next year , but found a thread , rang RADTEC and in fifteen days at cost of £503 will receive a "copy" of the OEM Steve Manley , I think , is an unsung hero in supporting this great marque we choose to drive .Is it presumptive that this forum has recgonised him someway or other???? Thank you for creating an enviroment such as these posts,where you can show others , through your life, how much more worthy it is to lead and leave a life in the positive.How inadequate I am, for being brusque, bullish , aggresive, selfish and uncareing. I never had the fortune of knowing anything about you, but feel now I do. There must always be a positive , however insignificant it maybe, but perhaps this maybe of consolation to you. Folks Have a set of brake discs 296mm and 310mm , as best I can measure them + 1/3 used pads Discs have no ridges, grooves etc , and can be fitted with no further work. They are free, to be collected from Watford. It would make this a lot more balanced exercise ,that on collection, you provided me with a receipt for £10 from the NSPCC Best regards James
