These cars were the super car of their time and some would argue still are.They are affordable to buy , mainly as a function of depreciation and lack of awareness (apart from forum membership). The irony is that their affordability will be their downfall.If you can't afford the mpg, can't afford to drive to a specialist to fix a fault etc etc, where is the enjoyment!!
So that reasonably priced supercar, could languish poorly serviced, little driven, tweaked by people with better knowledge than the total R&D might of one of the worlds corporate giants - a standard, boreing, well maintained, often driven example will indeed be rare!!!!!
