  1. the 48725-14070 BUSH, REAR AXLE CARRIER, LH & RH , TCB said I need 4 of them ; looking at ToyoDiy I think I just need two , RH and LH? http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1993_TOYOTA_SUPRA_JZA80-ALFQZ_4804.4.html?hl=48725F
  2. Project MU SCR PRO , they use to be the Project MU horrible mint green but the anodise faded over time so I got them anodised Gold, similar to the SCR GT versions I think it is probably about as good as it gets with OEM calipers, they are not too $$$ http://www.project-mu.co.jp/en/products/rotor_scrpro.html They are on Sale at the moment , 342 gbp http://www.rhdjapan.com/project-mu-scr-pro-rotors-front-supra-jza80-17-inches.html
  3. Only ones I had where project Mu and Endless ; only ones I can recommend . I would definitely get your OEM's seals done , if they have not been touched in over a decade and go from there ; even if you do get new brakes the new seals in the OEM's will stand to you if you do sell them, you wont be out of pocket I also got some high Temp Supra Stickers off Ebay and the POR Caliper paint kit , they look good as new
  4. I would not go crazy $$$ if it is a road car, I think alot of members like Chris Wilson's Fast road pads , I don't think you can go wrong Carbone Lorraines are an excellent make too But I would get a fast road compound (They do a few different compounds), I would not get a track pad , you want to have some stopping power in cold conditions plus some of the race pads squeal until they are warmed up and on a public road they will never get up to temperature I have the Endless CCX on mine the last 6 years , find them fantastic on track, in the cold mornings and zero dust but the CCX have since been discontinued (think CCA now) For what I use the car for , they are overkill , I will most likely go Chris's fast road pad next I am sure it is more than up to what you need and not crazy $$, it may be on comparison with the CCX pad but without the overinflated price tag If I where you I would go OEM setup and Chris's fast road pads ; see how you find it ; might be worth doing a refurb on the seals in your OEM Calipers , I did mine a few months ago and the feel in the pedal now is so consistent, it is very easy to modulate the pedal and left foot braking is alot easier. My car is 21 years old but even the youngest Supra now is 13 years old The Toyota Refurb kit (Seals, grease) was around 30 gbp and I also got Chris's stainless Steel pins for another 20 or 30 gbp For the 4 pot fronts and 2 pot rears (AKA UK Brakes) 04479-14140 Front Brake Caliper Overhaul Kit 04479-14130 Rear Brake Caliper Overhaul Kit
  5. Happy New Year! Plastidip on the Dash, did mine and it looks great! My preference is Ice white LED's , I would hold off on the Brakes if you have UK OEM's unless you are doing alot of track days , nothing will make her pull up in a shorter distance they just prolong before brake fade kicks in but you will only get this pushing her hard on track The unique Formula One-inspired braking system allowed the Supra Turbo to record a 70 mph (113 km/h) -0 braking distance of 149 ft (45 m),[19] the best braking performance of any production car tested in 1997 by Car and Driver magazine. This record was finally broken in 2004 by a Porsche Carrera GT, which does it in 145 ft (44 m) . The 4 pot OEM Brakes are not bad! Yes I would buy the Brembos as they look awesome and I am a big kid because I am building a race car that will never see a track lol

  9. I need more pics Quick one: what to you do to protect your wheels (polished lip) , I find Autoglym HD wax the best , I tried the Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armor , it is crap Mine are a bit dull after the weather we are having , they have no lacquer on the lip (only refurbed a few months back) , was going to use Autosol to bring them back hopefully
  10. http://www.atiracing.com/products/dampers/charts/damtoyota.htm Requires longer belt: 15% OD, OEM, 6 rib. (Use Goodyear #4060775, Gates #K060775, Dayco #5060775 or Drive-Rite #775K6). Anybody know in the EU we can get these belts , I tried Ebay but no luck I think the Gates is called 6PK1975 here but I can only find the 1973 on ebay
  11. Details of the car be here soon http://noriyaro.com/ A couple of posts coming up on Noriyaro.com soon with lots of pics and a video of the Caroline Racing quad-turbo 2JZ Silvia. https://scontent-b-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/t31.0-8/10749937_984563584891893_7359583712243026786_o.jpg
  12. To be honest it looks well made , and Ferrari run UFI filters lol
  13. Nothing when I searched , is anybody running a UFI oil filter They are cheap! I bought 2 for around 3 pound
  14. Would a faulty O2 cause you car to stall?
  15. Nope, thanks My symptoms are fairly vague too Battery just acts up sometimes, never had an issue with the Optima
  16. Hey Just a quick one , PITA to start the car today, probably due to the cold but the Halfords Battery isnt too old ; maybe the alarm and the immobiliser kicking in too , sometimes she gets confused when the remote start is armed and she doesnt turn over, think I need to increase the crank time allowed on the alarm Any who , I got her started , but the click you get when the battery is dead , I heard it after the car started and was idling at about 60 sec intervals So the car was on, idling at 800 rpm to warm up and drops to the 500 rpm , but I hear the click as if the battery was dead as she was warming up This usual , never heard it before ? The spark plugs need to be changed , she runs, pulls fine but sounds similar to a boxster engine on idle
