  1. I know David , owner of JDM Distro , Japan Racing wheels are really nice , the also do the replica CCW Classics JR10 Few guys run them in the drifting scene , I know of 2 members running the JR10 on here , must be a bout a year now (JakeG) Paul had the Jr12 on his S14a , he got them off Dave https://scontent-b-ams.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/10157233_636789223075241_2236057095837358237_n.jpg?oh=53898989d0f1683c2c48d82dbd4da49f&oe=552201DC
  2. I am nearly sure the rail is handle is angled down When you bolt up the rails it does not keep them uniform ,it bends them so when you try to use the slider , the rail is clampped down on it , preventing it from sliding
  3. Would it be safe to use some washers between the seat and seat rail?
  4. Just seen this http://www.driftmotion.com/product-p/dm2935.htm This seat spacer is 1/4 inch thick aluminum powder coated black, and is the length and width of the Recaro Non-tabbed slider. The spacer also includes predrilled slots so putting them between the slider and the seat bracket is a sinch with some longer hardware. We created these spacers to solve an issue with the Recaro Sportster CS, Style, Sport, or Trend seats where the bottom of the seat hangs down lower then the sliders so can contact the bracket. Raising them 1/4 inch solves the issue. The spacers are also ideal for raising any seat that sits lower then desired and can be used with other major brands of sliders like Sparco & OMP. They can also be used without sliders although in some cases drilling additional holes may be required.
  5. What I am thinking i to use a spacer , washer ?
  6. Hey I am having issues mounting the seats to the rails, if I tighten the rail to the seat , the slider wont work as it is slight putting the rial out of alignment Any idea's? I got the Mo rails , difference between these and the Ro rails is you get an extra piece of hardware you can use (two plates) I cannot use these mounting plates either as the rear of the seat will seat on top of the plate not flush , due to the seats base design , and the front of the seat has no mounting holes to coincide with the plates mounting points, they are not an option Pics are coming
  7. Nice! I like your fasteners on the apr plate, where you get them
  8. Cool Thanks I installed seats on MX5 before , you had to be a bit ham fisted ; just wanted to check I was doing it right!
  9. Just taught I would ask before I go at it , I want to bolt the seat rail to the seat I presume I move the rail as far forward on the slider , bolt up the two bolts , move the rail as fair back to allow me to bolt up the front? The rail in certain positions prevent me getting to the bolt holes Of am I missing anything , just dont want to damage anything

  12. So I am getting all new suspension , my mechanic said to get Solid Rear Subframe mounts but I am thinking either OEM Rear Subframe bushes or as a compromise I can get Stiffer TRD Rear Subframe bushes He said it will stop the subframe moving around, it is a road car not track. Anybody have any experience with OEM setup and Solid Rear Subframe mounts? Will it transfer unnecessary vibrations through the OEM bushes , Vibrations they are not designed to take? increase unnecessary wear? 18. Thanks Dude But there's no point , I will still have 22 year old ball joints. I have the front done in Super Pro and between the labour cost to press in and out the bushes , it much of a muchness but with the benefit of new Ball joints
  19. The Supra ones are cast into the Arm, as far as I know the whole arm needs to be replaced to replace the ball joint
