  1. Anybody do them? I am going to do the clutch soon so was thinking these might be worth doing while the gear box is out Anything else worth doing? http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/toyota/supra/diff-gearbox-axle/garage-whifbitz-895.html
  2. Was not thinking today , have some high temp paint , will just wire brush it again and redo Don't want the exhaust to get destroyed either
  3. Without asking a stupid Q, would the paint just flake off with the heat or be a fire hazzard if it was not high temp?
  4. Is it ok to paint the heat shield satin black?
  5. Hey I am swapping out my clutch for an OSGiken, I want something more streetable with a lighter pedal Clutch: Carbonetic Twin or Triple Mileage: 60K Miles Gearbox: V160 Car Model: Toyota Supra JZA80 (Zenki - 5/93-7/94) Eng: 2JZ-GTE Car Power: BPU Description: No issues with the Clutch, all in good working order. What is a good price point for a this clutch? If it is the Twin Clutch? If it is the Triple Clutch?
  6. I was going to get the Ikeya formula but got the OEM after some research Ikeya formula is ideal if you are racing her on track, on a public road , rose joints will take a pounding and you will spend most of your time replacing them, this also brings us onto the ride comfort , she will be noisy crashing over bumps, you wont be taking advantage of the adjustment if she is for the road The other reservation I have about Ikeya formula is future support, if anything for some reason happens to them , you may be in a spot of bother to get replacement parts If it is a road car, go OEM, I was in a Supra on track with OEM Suspension and Super pro Polybushed , plus it had the Chris Wilson valved Bilstein's ; she was like a go Kart, I could not believe it , soaked up the bumps ; Unless she is a track car, save yourself at least 1K and get new OEM I am sure you seen the video's of Bignum keeping up with exotic machinery around the Nurburgring, he is running OEM
  7. I run the Sparco but I think they are discontinued now
  8. I am more thinking am I being OTT, dont want to replace things for the sake of it ; maybe better off waiting if it is an engine out job and go to town on it when it needs it
  9. Thanks Chris This is getting $$$$ lol and no single turbo kit
  10. Thanks guys I had a look on Toyodiy but what are these called? http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1993_TOYOTA_SUPRA_JZA80-ALFQZ_1104.html Rear cylinder head hose Modine hoses What do you mean by core plugs?
  11. Do you need to take the sump off to do the oil pump?
  12. Was told it is common problem for the CAM, FRONT SUSPENSION CAMBER ADJUSTER to come out of alignment after some wear N tear on the road, it is best to tac weld it , once it is set? Any truth to this?
  13. Hi Reading through the workshop manuals, it is an engine out job ; is this the norm? I was told you can lower the front cross member, and i was also told the sup does not need to come off , you cab slide the oil pump out but another guy said due to a lip on the sump, it needs to come off to get the oil pump off If it is engine out, any other jobs worth doing?
  14. Would like to see these on a Supra, concave and a dish , think they only come in ET8 18X11 (biggest) , the ones below are the 18X11 https://scontent-fra.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/11054323_801842906560548_4909979742317176995_n.jpg?oh=de3b8b1be4c743cbf3f39a019c3f94ff&oe=55A081C2
  15. Stop showing off lol , got the top of the diff painted, for the underside I used a lot of degreaser , wire bush and too long trying to degrease it, gave up ; everything was beading off it , you really need it to be bead blasted but on the plus side the underside is had no rust just the top , it is well sealed whatever is on it
