  1. Ecu cover was catching a wire on mine
  2. Anybody have one or know anywhere you can get them, lost the M on the end of mine
  3. Could of been a bit of over training but taught I would be ok just squatting 60 kg and high reps, use to do 3-4 times that weight I just find my recovery takes too long , I think it is down to not eating enough or something I am doing wrong What has me a bit baffled , a few weeks ago I was hiking in the Dolimites , high enough altitude, 30km hikes , no doms nothing , and I am not a regular hiker, probably did 2-3 hikes in the months prior @ 6km was the longest and I did get the Doms Can think it was the Altitude , not too sure
  4. Edit the MTFU, I am well use to soreness and DOM's but this was ridiculous, I am just trying to speed up recovery
  5. Does anybody have a tips for recovery, took me 5 days before I could walk after squats last week , without looking like I was 110 years old It affects work, I pulled something in my abdominal area getting into the car lol I have tried Roller / Stretching / Protein / simple carbs post workout Drinking more water Animal Flex supplement Read Cranberries are a natural anti inflammatory Diet wise I eat clean, porridge, Scramble Eggs, avocados, meat, chicken, fish, pasta, granola, fruit, fat free greek yogurt, spinach, broccoli, mussles , quinoa, corn cakes with quinoa & flaxseed , almond nuts, cottage cheese , odd cheat meal a week, pizza etc
  6. I would check for any engine error codes first, I had this, was a loose ECU wire

  10. They are in the bin , you reckon the Brake shoe may be the issue? I got the cheapest set going as they are only brake shoes Rear Discs are new too
  11. Symptom: Intermittent Squeak at slow speeds 25 KM/hr or less, only stated happening after Brake shoes where changed What was done: Wheel Bearing was changed , it was gone All Calipers, refurbished , new seals and SS pins Rear Caliper was checked if it was over heating, hub, Disc and Caliper no issues All Brake shoe springs copper greased as per workshop manual Rear Brakes adjusted as per workshop manual i.e. 1. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE (a) Temporarily install the hub nuts. (b) Remove the hole plug. © Turn the adjuster and expand the shoes until the disc locks. (d) Return the adjuster 8 notches. (e) Install the hole plug. 2. SETTLING PARKING BRAKE SHOES AND DISC (a) Drive the vehicle at about 50 km/h (31 mph) on a safe, lev- el and dry road. (b) With the parking brake release button pushed in, pull on the lever with 88 N (9 kgf, 19.8 lbf) of force. © Drive the vehicle for about 400 meters (0.25 mile) in this condition. (d) Repeat this procedure 2 or 3 times. Any Ideas? Its embarrassing lol A Brake Shoe spring is gone? Rear pads , SS Retaining Pins need copper grease? Wind the brake shoe adjuster back another few notches?

  14. Brendan Stone did the build
  15. How is it incorrect? it has a max torque of 510nm, in comparison to an OEM diff the preload feels correct Not ruling out the diff Toyota parts but I am thinking the Carbonetic Diff itself may be gone? But dont want to buy an OsGiken, and still have issues Just wondering why maybe the best way to test, worth checking the runout of the DRIVE PINION SHAFT Might see how it goes and sent it to Chris , if anything happens to it
  16. So my differential was rebuilt, due to what I believe was a bearing went, it has the 8 year old carbonetic diff still Initial preload was. Set to 400nm but she was whiny and I got a vibration over 100km/hr The preload is set to 485nm , intermittent whiny at slow speeds and primarily on de-acceleration Took her for a good few km last night, fast road, was up at 180km on the way back, seems quiet and smooth at high speed , the intermittent whiny is still there though Today or the more mileage I put on her the more she seems to want to lock the diff at low speeds, on. Slow 10km tight left tonight , she starred to judder , not violent like a welded diff but you could feel it like you let the clutch up too quick Oil in her is elf 75w140 , there is enough in her, plus on the last oil change after literally 200-400km with motul pa90, oil was black and still had metal flakes on the sump nut, it was always like this for the last 8 years though but just less this time , maybe a carbonetic thing? I don't know, any advice?

  18. Anybody know the length and fittings for a TT 6 speed Jspec ? Mates with a machine shop owes me a few $$$ so going to get him to make one up Had a search on here and I think the the adaptor at the master is a an3- m10/1mm
  19. Judt tring to get at , a modern ECU like the syvecs , it it runs opem loop consistently If a wideband sensor is essential to create a base fuel map om an aftermarket ecu
  20. I presume you need a wide band O2 sensor to get the full spectrum of AFR's to set you base fuel map on an after market ECU, Syvecs fro example? If you add a Wideband sensor after mapping it on a narrow band, a remap is needed? With a wideband sensor and an ECU with a quick enough processor do you run it in closed loop constantly or it is still run in a combination or open/closed loop config?
  21. Spark Silver centre and polished lip
