  1. Colin is just putting in the OsGiken Grand Touring into mine this week
  2. SOLD NEW in box, unorthodox racing 2JZ cam gears and Cam Bolts http://www.unorthodoxracing.com/media/wysiwyg/AG941700350.jpg - The first 5 bolt cam gears/s for safe slip free operation. - The litest cam gear/s for the biggest power gains and fuel savings. - The most needed adjustability (+ or - 10 degrees). - Accurate to 1 minute of a degree (60 minutes in a degree). - Tooth profiles identical to the factory gears. - Extra thick hard-coat black anodized outers for unmatched durability. Designed, machined and assembled in America. UR gears are the lightest and safest gears, thanks to our industry first 5 bolt design. Each gear is fully adjustable, in fractions of a degree, to a maximum of + or - 10 degrees (advance or retard), more adjustability than you will ever need. Timing marks accurate to within one (1) minute of a degree (there are 60 minutes in a degree). No need to send UR gears to the machine shop to be re-indexed. The inner and outer gear section fit is the most critical part of the machining process. Any looseness, side to side (you'll hear a clicking sound), will cause gear/s to hop leading to the bolts coming loose no matter how hard they were tightened. The UR gear sections fit together tight, every time, so our gears do not come loose. Tooth profile is also critical for timing accuracy and long term reliability. UR tooth profiles are an exact match of the factory teeth. UR gears use an extra thick hard black anodized to prevent wear from the timing belt. We use black so you can see the timing marks better. HP gains will vary depending on what you've done to your engine. Gains from 5 to 20 horsepower can easily be seen. We have recommended settings in the instructions. We also suggest going to a dyno for fine tuning.

  9. K8 is alot nicer ! http://donedeal.akamaized.net/motorbikes/08-gsxr-600-k8/View2/46811472.jpeg
  10. Cool Thanks ! Was also told the K8 as switchable maps to reduce power Will see how I do in the IBT course on a Bandit before I buy anything Nice one in Megabikes, might be worth the extra $$$ for the warranty and knowing it had a service http://www.donedeal.ie/motorbikes-for-sale/suzuki-gsx-r-gsxr600k7/10467137?offset=20 http://donedeal.akamaized.net/motorbikes/suzuki-gsx-r-gsxr600k7/View2/46899157.jpeg What do people recommend for Bike Security? It will be parked in underground carpark What brands for gloves, boots and jacket, Dainese, Alpinestars, heard Daytona do good boots , anybody else do good gear
  11. I would check for any Fault codes on the ECU
  12. I did not keep up to date on Jacks Transmission but I am sure you did your research and there market is mainly US customers Did anybody have any issues with them, customer service all good, quick turnaround on work, what box currently is running the highest mileage after rebuild?
  13. Dropped out the weekend , the place is like TK MAX ;everything is thrown everywhere , nothing organised , helmet brands all mixed up Made my head spin , trying to look for anything, chaos in there , reminds me of a car boot sale The Dainese Jackets , clothing in general looked tatty, used ; they are not cheap items of clothing ! I would be a bit nervous of them getting to size a helmet for me , I get the impression they are more interested in the sale , and its grand type of attitude I also called out to Ducati Dublin, basically we have Shoei, Schburt helmets over there and there, try them on ; none of them Arai I wanted but he would order me in one based on a Shoei or Schubert fitment , I did not think was acceptable, Arai are not a cheap item to be guessing if it fits, even asking about sizes for boots and gloves, zero Ducati stock I just did not find him very accommodating, and had the attitude , he wasnt bothered
  14. Thanks Alex! I tried on a Shoei the weekend and the AGV helmets , I think the AGV will suit my head better, they have a great range of sizes in the AGV compared to other marques I tried the SM AGV and it was tight ! Was going to ask how tight it should be lol Duelly noted Bike wise , I will do the IBT training on a Bandit and go from there but great advice!
  15. Thanks Guys , is there anything to look out for, looking at a K5, common issues? In general with Serving a bike , I notice in the ads alot of them mention chains, sprockets replaced ; is this a question I should ask if not indicated?
  16. I started out in a Supra TT 9 years ago lol Bit crazy but once you respect the car
  17. I know where you are coming from and fully agree, but I think if you respect the power and your ability, there is no reason I cannot ride it ; similar to a knife, it can be a very dangerous weapon or a very useful implement depending how you use it For the full Bike License I have to have minimum 600 cc Bike I am open to options but what draws me towards this bike is the looks and reliability plus price point 2nd hand
  18. Hey I am looking at getting a 600cc Bike , was thinking GSXR , K5, K6, K7 ; I think a few members have them Doing the IBT in the next couple of weeks (Compulsory Learner modules) Any advice? what are these like, any known issues with these models ? thanks
  19. I was looking at the AGV helmets , big price difference between K3/K5 and the Aria RX7
  20. I will drop in but i think most consumers just want cheap items, alot of the places I have seen have high volumes of low quality gear or very very small selection of the good gear Most places are pre-order , its a PITA, you cannot try anything on
  21. I be better off going to Aldi lol Cheap crap
