  1. For warranty they have to go stateside , could be waiting weeks
  2. Very true on the twin waste gate kit , don't think HKS is divided but I need to check
  3. If the price point is right , I will get a kit from the EU but it is 2980 euro for the HKS Turboless kit shipped , its easy to put a low invoiced amount against it for Customs Turbo wise Borg Warner S300 SXE Garrett GTX Precision Gen 2 units are $$$$ plus support is an issue
  4. The kit is no different to what is on the market today, granted the Turbo is old Tech For the price , putting up with a T78 for a year or two is not the worst ; HKS Turboless is probably a better option for me What puts me off Precision Turbo's is the lack of support , any issues and it has to be sent stateside
  5. Yes HKS turboless kit is an option
  6. Thanks , but it is 3760 euro delivered ex customs ; suppose you could always add a modern turbo on later
  7. Hey Looking into some turbo kits , T78 I heard sounds good and has a nice kick, was looking at the HKS TO4z and based on driving my friends R34, it is a very linear power curve I found my BPU had more of a Kick, for obvious reasons his got there alot quicker but more refined Anybody have a T78-29 , are Greddy good kits?
  8. Having mine fitted this weekend I was waiting for months for a pair to come up, never did here or in the US so just bought some
  9. I have 285 on a 19 X 10.5 rim +7 and she can rub on a high compression suspension movement , my rear arches are 25mm wider each side I will let you do the math lol , i am dropping back to a 275 like I had in there More tyre width does not necessarily mean more grip ? Could you not start increasing the rolling resistance negating the benefit a wider tyre may bring? I taught a 17 inch wheel would be best suited for optimum suspension performance
  10. Not chance! I wouldnt let Robbie touch my push Bike!
  11. Here in Ireland its either Haltech or Motec
  12. That is true but Bells and whistles are only good if you need them ; I would rather have an ECU that does the basics exceptionally well than have an ECU less capable but with more bells and whistles Lack of knock control really puts me off , with 95 octane here ; It is a must for me M800 seems to be the only unit with MoTeC’s Onboard Knock Module (OKM), SKM is additional add-on to other models I presume I will need additional sensors too ; hard to get a price point for PNP kit
  13. Concerns i have http://motec.com.au/aboutecu/ecucomparison/ Individual cylinder tables -- Not Supported Knock control -- Not Supported
  14. Is anybody running the Motec M84? Looks to be at a good price point and more support, more tuners at your disposal
  15. I just threw the Neova AD08R in there as they run them in Time attack in Japan lol Going to get them for mine , the thread looks cool too
  16. I am looking into the Haltech Elite 2500 , bit pricey like the Syvecs but it is worth it for the fail safes , cheaper than a rebuild I would like a Syvecs but with logistics from Ireland it is $$$ getting to the UK, support etc for any teething problems
  17. Thanks Chris I am the biggest skeptic when it comes to Octane boosters , only reason I am tyring the NF Octane stuff is on the Dyno without the NF my friends MK3 Supra was knocking up at the 60 mark and dropped to 30 with it My other friend has a knock sensor on his R35 GTR , part of the COBB package ; he ran 115 Octane Pantra mixed with 95 but get better results with the NF based on the logs When I get mine back I am going to do a power run with and with out; worth a punt for 16 gbp
  18. That expansion tank was part of the Greddy Intercooler Kit , you needed to move the OEM unit to fit the IC
  19. Its called the FT-1 Concept , not like they have decided on a name yet lol Tada did refer to it as the new Supra at the Toyko Auto Salon FT-1 Concept has all the same characteristics of the Supra , GT car, RWD, aimed at the 911, Toyota Flagship sports car hence the comparison
  20. Mk3 and Mk4 are completely different too
  21. Car is a BPU Jspec 2JZGTE Fuel in Southern Ireland is 95 Octane, The BOS Scheme places an obligation on suppliers of mineral oil to ensure that 6.383% (by volume) of the motor fuels (generally Gasoline and Motor Diesel) they place on the market in Ireland is produced from renewable sources, e.g. Ethanol and Biodiesel. The obligation was increased from the 1st January, 2013. At the Pumps, Petrol is still indicated as being 95 Octane http://nora.ie/biofuels-obligation-scheme.141.html What are my options, fuel here seems to be getting worse? Without costing a fortune Octane Booster (NF Octane stuff seems to get good reviews) Water Methanol Kit ? Avgas ? Toulene ? Race fuel will go off and is $$$ It am not looking for more power , just engine protection ; or can anything be done, maybe just retard the timing and live with what is available ?
  22. Some news from Tada at Tokyo auto salon http://gtspirit.com/2015/10/30/next-gen-toyota-supra-concept-coming-next-year/
