Fuel in Southern Ireland is 95 Octane, The BOS Scheme places an obligation on suppliers of mineral oil to ensure that 6.383% (by volume) of the motor fuels (generally Gasoline and Motor Diesel) they place on the market in Ireland is produced from renewable sources, e.g. Ethanol and Biodiesel. The obligation was increased from the 1st January, 2013.
At the Pumps, Petrol is still indicated as being 95 Octane

What are my options, fuel here seems to be getting worse?
Without costing a fortune
Octane Booster (NF Octane stuff seems to get good reviews)
Water Methanol Kit ?
Avgas ? Toulene ?
Race fuel will go off and is $$$
It am not looking for more power , just engine protection ; or can anything be done, maybe just retard the timing and live with what is available ?
