  1. Not too sure if you want the colorful Silicon , I had on mine but quality between Gates Racing and Silicon is night/day plus the Silicon available here is very cheap and nasty ; my mate had some on his GTR from Japan , it was top quality but I was never able to find it here or in Japan ; Top Secret put it on http://www.ebay.ie/itm/330803508813?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&var=540090527961&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  2. Bit of banter , was hoping at least to see the Supra Run
  3. Transmission blew , think it was a TH400
  4. None , just order Gates Racing Boost Junkies say they do a kit but the hoses are all the wrong sizes Vacuum Hose Sizes 4mm 3 metres 5mm 1 metre 6mm 1 metre
  5. http://www.speedhunters.com/2010/11/car_spotlight_gt_gt_jzx90_toyota_cresta_tourer/ I see some call the JZX90 a chaser and cresta , I think its the rear that is different between the two, not too sure
  6. Could be a JZX90 alright, had to tell from the photos with all the modifications , I think the X90 shared the same front
  7. Looks like Toyota Cresta
  8. I got mine dont in Sit-u , it is a PITA and the risk is dropping the valve into the combustion chamber resulting in the requirement to take the head off Basically , if it is not broke dont touch it , people have had issues when the seal is disturbed on the block , the head has been in situ over a decade ; but it is most likely down to the mechanic not installing the head correctly again Reason why Owners are deterred from disturbing the block
  9. I did the crank pulley too so I ended up doing the oil pump while it was off lol since the sump is off, gasket in oil strainer , check big end bearings ; you could end up doing a rebuild
  10. I just got the VSS done because I was installing cams , I would recommend doing Tbelt , valve cover seals , cam seals (two of them, they are cheap and will be coming off too) As an option Cams Vernier Pulleys Breather setup i.e. fitting Dash AN fittings to you valve covers Because you have to strip alot to get at the VSS I did Unorthodox Racing Cam Gears Cam Seals Valve Cover Seals Valve Stem Seals Outer Cam Valve cover Bolt set SS Valve Cover Washer Seals X 16 Tomei Poncams 264 Duration Billet Valve Covers Billet 3 port Breather tank with -10 Braided hoses Gates Racing Kevlar TBelt Billet Timing Belt Tensioner Bracket TENSIONER ASSY, CHAIN, NO.1 IDLER SUB-ASSY, TIMING BELT, NO.1
  11. I will leave this here http://www.rhdjapan.com/trd-aero-bonnet-hood-supra-jza80.html
  12. All white dude, the black bonnet distracts your focus off the rest of the car
  13. Very Nice! Please paint the bonnet white too
  14. The concept of gear ratio's eluded him too!
  15. My first car was a 1600 Corolla FWD , I bought my TT Supra 2 years after; like anything you need to take time to get familiar with it ; I never had any mishaps or close calls , respect the power and common sense will keep you out of trouble, if you are unsure , do not take the risk I know of a guy who bought a TT Supra , dropped 1K on getting T belt done etc, took delivery of her Saturday , wrote it off by Sunday; he was on the motorway torrential rain , dropped it into 3rd , revs shot through the roof , rear locked , tank slapped the barrier ; he said in his 1.6 BMW 5 speed when he dropped it in 3rd it just went ; I suppose laws of natural selection kicked in. He paid 18K back then on the road , insurance gave him 4K (Open market value) , he had a nice 14K 5 year loan to pay off and nothing to show for it , what a plonker !
  16. Just edited there for you LOL
  17. Was looking at Le Mans film last nite , The Porsche that Steve is driving , I taught it had a spare wheel behind the rear window but the what the hell is it doing with a space saver lol then I taught maybe it is weight for balance or penality, until I seen it spinning ; what the hell is it , cool the engine or for downforce to suck the car to the road ?
