  1. The Video it said 275 up front and 295 rears , maybe a translation error (English subtitles)
  2. I am following you on FB Tim , you crankcase breather pipe setup is very neat/Tidy and charge cooler is very interesting to watch progress! Keep up the good work!
  3. I wish we had a system on par with your new or old , I pay 1494euro for my 93 Supra Something modern S5 would be 2350 euro annually
  4. BMW or Mercedes Models have the Battery located in the boot, breakers yard is a good source for their setup!
  5. Nice write up on Hiba Sans ridox How he fits 275 tyre up front I don't know http://tokyotuner.com/2015/10/25/a-man-and-his-machine-hiba-sans-ridox-supra-rz-s/
  6. Short Block Questions 1. To hone the block would you use a deck plate, with the gasket, to simulate the cylinder head bolts being distorted? 2. Would you line hone the 2JZ with the oil pump on it, to take into account for the distortion of the main caps? Cylinder head design Don’t quote me on this , from a bit of reading on here ; 2JZ head is not the most efficient head, if anything it is a limiting factor ; Yamaha was involved in the design? Considering an Engine is just a big pump to get the most air and fuel in there to create the most power , what can be done with a 2JZ head? We can swap out • Valve Guides • Valve springs • Valves • Cams Questions 1. Are heads optimised to flow up to the valve lift of the valves installed? 2. Are Valves and Cams tuned to suit the valve lift , the cam on a cycle will go through the mid lift number twice (Opening and closed); ideally you would want the head to be optimised to flow as best it can at this point ?
  7. I like your style my man, you are in a sinking ship ; taking poor Ric down with you
  8. Thanks I am going to try MMT(Methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl) , do some dyno testing NF Octane booster vs Bardahl BSF Racing Octane Booster Even if I had an ECU capable of running a flexifuel, Ethanol is a pita to source here; think VP or Sunoco do some but it is bloody expensive , shipping is a killer!
  9. Toulene and Xylene is ok in 10% mix , its the other crap in there I would be concerned about ; The manufacturer cant even tell you the % mixture of the chemicals , you dont know what you are mixing Best case scenario Max 40% is Toulene and Xylene (Batch dependent)
  10. Read there is restrictions in certain race series preventing modern ignition
  11. Anybodu some across this , I think you are playing russian roulette with your engine , Saab guy here is going to use it He read it on the interweb http://www.uksaabs.co.uk/UKS/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=88586 max 40% of that is made up of Toulene and XYLENE , the tetrosyl contains a higher % of chemicals I would not even like to guess would do to an internal engine Mixtures Toulene 10-30% XYLENE 5-10% https://www.tetrosyl.com/images/stories/virtuemart/documents/STT025_SDS.pdf
  12. Not durable enough, how would you even wash your car, slightest pressure off a power house would rip through it
  13. Why are modern American high performance engines still using a Distributor versus a modern ignition system? i.e. FORD RACING 427 https://fordperformanceracingparts.com/images/part/250x250/M-6007-Z427ART.jpg

  21. Chris I was talking to OsGiken USA and they also have an alternative oil, just good to know if the OsGiken Oil was hard to get http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?328829-OsGiken-Spec-x&highlight=osgiken For oil we have two approved and tested fluids to work with the differential. OS Giken 80W250R and Motul Gear Competition FF 75W140 No LSD Additives required In terms of break-in there is no "break-in procedure" (ie. Figure 8’s) but a recommended fluid change between 500-1000 miles or one track weekend after install.
