  1. I did all my suspension parts in ACF50 (3/4 of a can) , it is not gloopy very similar consistency to WD40 ; alot goes a long way
  2. In Ireland, they are increasing Biofuel required in transport fuels from 6% to 8% effective from January 1st 2017 I dont think this will cause any implications based on what I read, we can run up to 10% in pre 2007 cars without the need for any modification on the engine or fuel system Hopefully get 1-2 ron increase
  3. For the boot Silent Coat Extra (4mm thick) , under the carpet 2mm as it is a tight fit with the carpet as is or even Silent Coat Plus if you want 4mm in areas that suffer from bad noise or vibrations, wheel arches , boot floor , transmission tunnel 2mm should be fine for most area's Did a new BMW mini , something on the list for the Supra
  4. Top Secret used Roberuta for their Supra kit http://www.roberuta.com/english/
  5. I used Dynamat and Silent coat , both the same product with the exception Silent coat is cheaper , you could argue looks nicer too I use http://www.silentcoat.co.uk/ or try amazon
  6. I used one I got off Amazon (Power BEE 3W solar panel trickle charger ) with my Alarm activated , I found during the winter months we did not get enough light in terms whats generated versus consumption Battery did go Flat , plus the cold does not help 3W panel might be too small an outlay , I am sure some maths will let you know if it is sufficient for your consumption I would also look into too much output may damage the battery if it is fully charged , I think the charger needs to drop to 0.5 amps when the battery is under low consumption (maintenance mode)
  7. If you have deep pockets ww.rainbow-audio.de
  8. Based on your budget , I would get 2 nice 16.5cm Front speakers , sound deadening (Silent Coat, cheaper than Dynamat) and the MDF brackets Rear speakers are not as important , at a later stage get some cheaper 35-50 gbp Alpine Type E in Halfprds for the rear I find these guys always cheaper than the larger companies http://www.roadradio.com/car-audio/speakers/ These guys in Italy , I just took delivery of my Alpine double din off them , fast delivery and I could not get a better price, plus selection of accessories was fantastic , and website layout is very easy to navigate https://www.rgsound.it/coassiali/coassiali-165mm/ I am using the Focal PC165 in the front as they have a tweeter built in (coaxial speaker) as opposed to having a component setup and drilling the door card , to get at the OEM Tweeters you would need to remove the dash Looks like a good price at 88 GBP : http://www.roadradio.com/Focal/PC165/ Brands I would look at JL Audio Alpine Focal Rockford Fosgate Kicker
  9. I do not see the point of it myself , resembles a poorly execution of a Facebook Page with a lot of content squeezed into a very poorly designed layout, no orgainsation It is cumbersome to trawl through all the Tribes , figuring out if it is one you want to join ; they would be better creating a fixed selection of 5-8 tribes , JDM , Muscle cars , off road etc... organise them into sub categories , brands , engines, JZ.., clubs you can filter on if you wish
  10. Had some spare cash , was rebuilding the differential (a Bearing was grumbling) , OsGiken was getting rave reviews; it was an impulse buy, If I swapped it out at a later stage I would need to buy another set of carrier bearings / seals; my man maths behind it I did most of the 40K , was installed in Japan within a month prior to me buying the car , think I have a receipt somewhere ; guy who owned the car was OCD with receipts and service history , sometimes a benefit of buying off a dealership as opposed an Auction

    Fitted HID's

They look Great Simon , how is MOT with regard HID's there , Over here you need self leveling system and Headlight washers , even imports with HID's from factory are failing due to it Depends on the tester but a big discussion to fail mine last test , looking at LED's ; , I ordered some of the philps LEDs to try in the Golf , if any good will get some for the Supra in the new year

  13. Had her Calibrated again with the Fuel Pressure sensor , Car is alot better on fuel ; All three VSV's are Wired in, the Sequential is a no go , mapper tried to swap around inputs but could not get the fuel pump to work Did a dyno run to set the FPR correctly to run off Manifold pressure and to calibrate the fueling model with the Fuel pressure sensor , she spools a little earlier with all VSV's plumbed in Traction control is wired in via wheel speed sensors but no calibrated still Still had the ECU illustrating error (Throttle Position Sensor diagnostic Closed warning) , I set the Throttle scale and offset myself so the ECU knows a reference scale, when the Throttle is full depressed and fully pressed , error is gone and car idles better Was talking to John Reed , going to get John to setup the car in sequential and traction control, John said it was fairly easy
