  1. I notice a few 2jz owners are finding ACL bearings hard to get ? Have they slowed down JZ production? ACL, King Race or Clevite Crank Mains seem to be the options , anybody any experience with King , seem to be relatively new to the JZ world?
  2. Does anybody have a video preferable on a Supra , how an internal wastegated Turbo sounds? Want to compare to a recirculated gated manifold , I would forfeit a little earlier spool if you loose the sound of a gated manifold Anybody running the Turbosmart BOV , Wastegated products they offer for the internal gated EFR series?
  3. Motec M1 has the ability to run Bosch ABS M4 systems, for the Supra package the ECU taps into the ABS ECU for Wheel speeds (Traction Control)
  4. This was my understanding too, but lack of Vband configurations or the need to buy an additional housing like the Tial curtailed demand
  5. Anybody come across any dyno plots? From what I can see all Tial Vband housings are Single scroll and Garrett do a twin Scroll Vband housing I cannot find any twin Scroll Vband setups to compare
  6. http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/topic/74010-high-flowing-ct20-turbos/ http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/topic/73446-glen-munro-stage-4-supra-twins-or-td05-twins/ Anthony said he came across them on http://soarercentral.com/
  7. It made more than he expected , I think he said his Exhaust is causing a restriction too and he needed an aftermarket Map sensor to push it more, but the big issue in Ireland is the Fuel , only 95 here He did mention he might send them back to get the billet wheels installed , but his car is quick , spins up in 3rd I will ask about with regards members running them , I think most of their customers are on the Supra Australian site
  8. Its my mates car , check out Bens time attack Soarer , that was the test mule http://www.timeattackr.com/articles/2016/4/4/timeattackr-ben-lipmans-boosted-griffin
  9. Heres the Munro racing CT12A High Flow with ported manifolds: (Does not have Billet wheels) 453hp @1.35 1JZGTE Mk3 Supra 95 Octane Fuel HKS 264 Cams
  10. My Mate has the Munro's on his 1JZ MK3 Supra , he makes good power; what puts me off the hybrid turbo's is the common issue with OEM cracked housings due to age , and you also have the complexity of the Sequential system (VSV's) I am leaning towards a single kit, Garrett or BW EFR ; the lack of support outside the US puts me off Precision
  11. Anybody hear anything more about these? Looks like they are V band fitment only I like the stainless Steel housing! https://turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/turbochargers/gtx3584rs
  12. FRom what I heard Garrett GTX RS Turbo's are what the Garrett GTX should of been; still waiting on results

  18. Lovely car Mike Some Q's On the white heater buttons , did you just buy new Buttons From Amayama , did you need to change the bulbs (OEM is green?)? Was looking into doing sound deadening , did it make muck of a difference ? Did you just do the doors / boot ? What quantity of material did you use? thanks
  19. Any pics of them in the car , I presume you need 19 inch wheels minimum with x offset? How do you rate them versus oem 4/2 piston ?
