  1. Rab , I am running Walbro 255l/hr about 10 years now on BPU @ 1.25 bar, Colin fitted it in about 10 mins Price difference with the 485 I think is negligible
  2. Most definitely , that was 424 at the hubs ; she is pushing 1.3 bar I am getting very tempted by James's setup , 6264 billet Tubbie SRD Kit
  3. Spec: OEM 2JZ block and head. Standard Twin Turbos 6 Speed Manual 264 9.5mm Tomei Poncams Siemens Dekra 890 cc Billet Fuel Rail Bosch Motorsports FRP One De-cat and 2nd sport cat HKS Exhaust OEM air box with K&N Panel Filter 255 Walbro Fuel pump Motec M130 Motec LTC Wideband controller and Bosch LSU 4.9 Running in Sequential Final Run was 424hp @ 1.3 Bar and 431.9 ftlb Torque, Rev limit set to 7100 from Stock 6800rpm on 95 octane fuel
  4. Very impressive James , very similar spec to mine minus the Tubbie and Fuel pump Makes me wonder if a Gen2 is not worth the extra

  7. Hi I have a Fuel pressure sensor fitted , I would like to fit a Fuel Temp sensor but without causing a restriction in the system What I am thinking is an Inline AN6 Male / female with 1/8 port in the return line , maybe you need the temperature measured post rail ? Distribution block of some sort Looking at Earls site I cannot see any solution , maybe tapping the OE fuel Filter is an option ? But I rather the Sensor is up out of Road debris Need a nudge in the right direction Hardware AN 6 Fuel Lines KA sensor Fluid temp 1/8 NTP AN6 Male / female with 1/8 port https://scontent-amt2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/16836654_409458696069429_7495296072550541334_o.jpg?oh=d5067fd03a5e21c59913c62dc258fa8c&oe=5971462D
  8. Quick one Fuel Pressure warning, what is an example For OE Pressure? I am running OE pressure , Fuel Pressure at Idle w/vacuum hose disconnected is 43psi ( 3.0 kgf/cm) Fuel Pressure at Idle w/vacuum hose connected is 36psi (2.5 kgf/cm)
  9. I have the old skool Defi-Link system control unit II The Plastic Nipple on the sensor broke, it was glued back in situ but has since filed again , I tired an EP Man Aliexpress replacement sensor, cheap I know but worth the gamble , Gauges are just for cosmetics Manufacturer Part # PDF00603S On initial installation , nothing , I noticed the pins are placed incorrectly in the plug versus the Defi (as you can see in the pics), I swapped them around , now it displays 0.7 bar constantly Anybody any experience with these sensors? For 7 Dollars I presume it is a POS but was worth the gamble or do I have it wired incorrectly? Hubsports Replacement Sender/Sensor Unit for Electonic Turbo Boost Gauge PDF00603S-in ATV Parts & Accessories from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group DEFI unit
  10. Was more interested in quality and fitment , comprehension of the kit versus PHR , I would not bother with the QSV etc added complication I think they all use the same arnout cast manifold , what i like with the SP kit, is you can purchase it minus a Turbo I think between these two kits they are the cheapest option to go single , OEM setup on mine is 24 years old I think it is a better, safer bet than going hybrid or rebuilt tubbies
  11. In short use OEM hardware , and some thread lock like loctite 243 , Spring washers are useless and in-accurate Reading up on it , spring washer can create 'preload scatter' which basically means the torque wrench will break(click) sooner or later than it should in relation to the tensile stress on the bolt which its specified for due to the presence or lack of necessary friction. Nasa on spring washers: NASA fastener design manual has a section on them and quoted " The typical helical spring washer is made from trapezoidal wire formed into a helix of one coil so that the free height is approximately twice the thickness of the washer cross section. The lockwasher 'serves' as a spring while the bolt is being tightened. However, The washer is normally completely flat by the time the bolt is fully torqued. At This time it is equivalent to a solid flat washer, but without the structural integrity, and its locking ability is nonexistent. In summary, a lockwasher of this type is completely useless for locking."
