  1. I am from Malahide/Swords near Dublin Airport, between two areas at the moment. Orignally from Swords, we should setup Supra Irish meet, one of the guys in wicklow I meet last week just got Supra as well
  2. To be honest I dont think there is enough info out there to clearly state how you identify these cars and the volume built. But what is the difference if the car is TRD Built or converted, is that not the same thing?? I taught they where all returned to TRD Factory because the whole reason behind the car was to pay homage to the wins in the GT-C Japanese racing series Toyota Technocraft Website: "In order to ensure exclusivity, a high price tag was charged and total of just 35 factory car conversions were completed by Toyota Technocraft Ltd. " Seriously theres no need to imply Miguel is ripping me off, sure I can go on Ebay and get a TRD Premier Badge. The receipt/TRD Documents of Authenticity from TRD Factory and VIN are clear enough for me to authenicate the Car is a genuine TRD Product.
  3. Just took a look at the white Supra and mine has same spec with all TRD accessaries interior, exterior and Engine. But are all Supras not converted cars like the MR2 TRD2000GT? Toyota Technocraft Website: "In order to ensure exclusivity, a high price tag was charged and total of just 35 factory car conversions were completed by Toyota Technocraft Ltd. " Would be great if you can dig out any interior, engine bay pics, Ill get some from Miguel to compare. Does white Supra have UK Hood not TRD?? and out of curiousity what price did she go for because mine is 1993 as well
  4. Hey guys I asked Miguel and this is what he got back with Miguels Response: "Thanks for your e-mails over the weekend. The previous owner’s had the car for 5 years during which he had Toyota Technocraft fit the kit. He was a fastidious sort (Car’s virtually unmarked) so has kept all sorts of receipts, manuals, etc. for the car, inclusive of which I noticed a receipt for the fitting of the kit by TRD. So this combined with the plaque next to the VIN plate clearly proves this is a genuine TRD converted car, rest assured."
  5. Good Question, I ask Miguel to check. The car is still in Japan, where is the badge normally located inside the car, glove box area etc?
  6. I am afraid we may have to wait until she arrives in Ireland, I will post up some more pics if Miguel sends on some. Think he is sending me the usual slideshow of 30-50 pics and still have to receive full SPEC I will update as soon as I receive, Jurgen I did notice you had TRD 3000GT as well for sale was she Technocraft built and how did u know the blue Supra (Ireland one) on piston heads wasnt, do you know history behind Technocraft built 3000GT?
  7. I have seen Three cars from Miguel of Newera imports with Specs sent here to Ireland (ADD Performance)for customers, all to spec but we did find more goodies on the Supra which was a really nice surprise Supra VVTI JZA80 Grade 4 Skyline R34 GTR Grade 4.5, smelt like new car Silva Spec R Grade 4.5, I could not believe this car was not just rolled off te factory Floor amazing
  8. Yeah I have all paper work to validate autenticity , I have photo of the Docs in Garage too At moment I am trying to fing History behind Toyota Technocraft built TRD3000GT This is all I found In 1998, Toyota Racing Development [2] offered an official kit body conversion and tuning program for MR2 owners to transform their existing SW20 MR2 into a widebody TRD2000GT kit replica car. This was to pay homage to the wins by their TRD2000GTs in the GT-C Japanese racing series, the TRD2000GT racing series cars were based on the SW20 floorpan. Toyota also did the same with their Supra Twin Turbo model, offering a conversion service to transform these cars into a TRD3000GT[3]. In order to ensure exclusivity, a high price tag was charged and total of just 35 factory car conversions were completed by Toyota Technocraft Ltd.
  9. I seem to able to get MR2 Info, theres nothing for the Supra and from what I have found it is very vague and alot of speculation, it really is frustrating hopefully one of the members knows
  10. Check out my garage I have about six pics
  11. Just purchased Supra TRD3000GT on Thursday 1/11/07 with ADD Performance Ireland (NewEra Imports Agent), she should be her in mid December , I will get more pics when she arrives Might Drop over to the UK to one of the shows
  12. Hey does anybody know the history assoicatied with the Toyota technocraft built versions, I know you can buy the KIT Seperate. How many where built? How can you verify it originality?, mine has No.26 on TRD VIN Plate All I can find is info about the MR2 TRD2000GT In 1998, Toyota Racing Development [2] offered an official kit body conversion and tuning program for MR2 owners to transform their existing SW20 MR2 into a widebody TRD2000GT kit replica car. This was to pay homage to the wins by their TRD2000GTs in the GT-C Japanese racing series, the TRD2000GT racing series cars were based on the SW20 floorpan. 13. I will be heading down this weekend Round 5..............Mondello Park, Kildare........August 18/19th
  14. I taught I would put in a sassy Title to get peoples curiosity even got Jurgens
  15. Only 95RON available here research for a while now, so it looks like we are stuck with it. we have VPower here but still only 95 RON, emailed Shell Ireland Directly. Tried my current Levin with the NOS octane booster/VPOWER and it ran really smooth but 23 pound on top of every tank of gas is way too much money. Hopefully some Supra Tuners can suggest a resolution
  16. Paul I hear you there, MILF all the way
  17. Thanks guys this is all great feed back, but to throw another spanner into the works. In Ireland 95 octane Fuel is the highest what implications will this cause on the Supra as Fuel in Japan is much higher octane and u might say ocatne boosters but got some for my Levin and they r expensive for 1 tank of petrol a NOS octane booster is 23 pound stering , Can you get away with using 95 RON I would get super unleaded if it was available

    Conundrum

Hey heres the problem I am investing in a TT Supra 6 Speed:) , but I have reservations about getting a 1997 VVTI RZ Facelift Model (Stage one Tuned Exhaust,FMIC,INDUCTION etc) 30K - 40K miles or a 1993 Single T88 Greddy conversion 600+ bhp with 50K miles. Both cars are in around the same price range give or take 2-3K. But I am really concerned about relialabilty, since you guys all generally own or owned Supras. Is it feasable to think you can have a reliable 15 year old supercar destroying monster for 16K. What are your experiences or personal advice, it is alot of money at the end of the day Cars: WhifBlitz 1993 Single T88 Greddy conversion 600+ bhp 16K NewEra Imports 1997 VVTI RZ Facelift Model 14K Jurgen Imports 1996 NOS Supra 12K
  19. Hi I want to get a TT Supra, anybody have any experiance wiht any of the Jap imports below or if you can suggest any. 1) http://www.whifbitz.co.uk 2) http://www.japaneseimportspecialists.co.uk (Distinct Car York) 3) http://www.jm-imports.co.uk 4) Newera Imports I was thinking of this Supra here: http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/fstoyota.html what do u guys think for value for money, the only real doubth I have about the car is the year and mileage plus for that type of money I would expect this type of Supra (a wow factor Supra) http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=280 but it is probably unrealistic even for 16 K Thanks
  20. Hi Guys I am interested in a Supra Twin Turbo who would you guys recommend to get the car off, I was thinkning of whifbitz or New Era Imports. What can a supra twin turbo run reliable 300,400,500,600 BHP? Is 16K alot of money for a 1993 twin turbo? http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/fstoyota.html Basically I want a reliable car that can be used as a daily drive, just dont want the car to be in the garage more thimes than on the road, what is your experiance
