Got camskill sourced tyres fitted to the Mini today, basically I got 2 pirellis for the price of one from here. We where trying to figure out why they are so cheap and one of the mechanics said , did I check the production date on the tyre, even though they are new if they where manufactured back 6 years ago, tyres have a shelf life(he commented he seen this before, new tyres but manufactured back in 2004) On further discussion, they said within the EU a new legislation is coming in to ensure all tyres must have a manufacture date within 3 years, currently it is 6 Will check them tomorrow, anybody with camskilll tyres should check too How to identify Manufactured Date http://www.discountcartire.net/2009/...xpiration.html Found these good too, http://www.eiretyres.com/ (German Company)

The Light Cluster for the ABS and Oil cluster has a loose connection, they work fine if I press the wire in but as soon as I drive they wont work again till I press on the loom again, Whats the best way to fix this? And out of curiousty what is the DB level with just second CAT in on TT?

Hey John took off the arch lining today,not a chance getting in near the bulbs, bolted in behind the bumper is another bumper so to speak, for channeling the cold air around the rad/intercooler plus the socket the lense sits into has a backing and just 2 wires fed through to the daytime bulbs, only way to get at them is to undo the two 10mm bolts holding the lenses in, unfortunetly not a hope in getting to the bolt nearest the wing too tight, had her up on the ramp, wheels off , arch lining out, its a nightmare to get at them, looks like a bumper off job Manufactures never seem to think of these things

do we need to quote anything when booking? are most just doin the sat or sat & sun too, poll maybe?

I have a TRD Rad Cap but want to replace it to Stock 1.1 bar, I presume the stock supra Rad Cap is the same dimensions as the TRD? It should fit if the TRD rad cap does?
