  1. The rears on mine are too now I think of it, didnt know it was ALUMINIUM though Everyday is a school day
  2. Just goin by the kit on my car, Had the Bumper off two weeks ago to replace my oil cooler; not too sure how it compares to MVP I am 99% sure the wings are metal not fiberglass( i can double check agin if you want), the TRD kit also has a ducting unit behind the bumper (fiberglass but with a smooth top lacquered layer to aid smooth airflow/apperance, all counter sunk bolts); the unit mesaures about 1 meter across X 1/2 meter depth and 40cm high The best comparison I could give you is to an F1 car front ducting in apperance/design(sorry i didnt take photos now). It channels the area through the Engine and front brakes plus the mesh is bolted to the ducting not the Bumper. This Ducting leverages its fitting off the front crash bar and the bumper bolts to a metal bracket underneath the ducting plus the usual OEM fittings) Bumper if I remember correctly has 2 bolts either headlight and 6 underneath, total of 10 bolts; the ducting has 6 bolts and the 6 underneath. I have not seen an MVP kit but the front bumper on my car runs all the way to the crank, a sort of front diffuser with counter sunk holes to ensure a clean airflow. I was surprised at how neath and well taught out the kit was(especially the ducting unit), alot of work and effort went into the design and the functionality which as far as I know is rare with majority of body kits. Just reading up about the kit , toyota did spend alot on R&D in the wind tunnel perfecting the kits functionality but had a trade off between functionality and apperance. I suppose this does support the price tag
  3. I run 36 all round , for comfort, grip, tyre wear, fuel consumption I find it a good all rounder; Goodyear and Toyota also recommended 36psi all round after a quick call TRD Bilstein Shocks & TRD Lowering Springs 245 Front 19" Goodyear Eagle F1 GDS3; 275 Rear 19" Goodyear Eagle F1 GDS3 Depending on the Tyre Temps I find the PSI flucuates by 1 -2 PSI (I use a digital guage, in the same texaco garage every 2 weeks; Dont have any issues with people dropping the mechanical guage and affecting the calibration setting) ; Just goes to show the nightmare an F1 team or any racing team must have if I can see it on my road car
  4. I say that is all dried up, he just had small stuff like air filters, gearknobs, dump valves but put it this way it was all well past its sell by date One of the Silvia's was going for 24K with a serverly bent chassis and visible welded areas in the boot, some shocking paper weights up here goin fro crazy money
  5. Half the stuff was well used, I got a nice gear knob off him 90% of the Jap imports coming in over here where crashed, Blakes cross has the contract for the surrounding Jap importers in and around Meath, some of the stories about the stock they seen is just dangerous All the importers in the area are closed now
  6. Back then his house was like a warehouse of high performance Jap parts McCaber I will do you a list of where to go in Dublin for parts and Oil
  7. Never heard a bad word about Nick, Justins is a nice R34 alright I actually met him years ago when he first got it at his house, one of the guys I know is good mates with him; it only dawned on me it was him after our 2nd meet we had up in Dublin I even got him to take my car off the boat, he worked up in the docks at the time taking Jap cars off the boats
  8. Yep it is Justin's BB R34, I know he gets is tracking done there but think he mainly uses Couture Auto in Meath (He is out that way)
  9. Every 8K - 10K KM I do my diff and Engine oil(I have an uprated diff though) http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=56684 Baz normally meets you somewhere local to where u live, dont think he has a premisies (keep overheads low and prices to us)
  10. its crazy goin all the way to SSI for an oil change, What I generally do for a service is get all the materials I need , and go up to Blakes cross. Brake pads, engine oil , diff oil, gearbox oil, spark plugs change is what I use them for. I get either my oil (Motul) and Filter or plugs if required off Baz at BSP imports, Nice guy and great prices (http://www.bsp-imports.com/) (he is in Dublin) For example 6 liters is 75euro for Motul oil, oil filter is around 20 Or I use Opie Oils but shipping I find expensive For Opie I Get Silkoleen (Now called Titan Race 10W50) K&N Oil filter Diff oil (I cant get the one I use in Ireland)
  11. I get mine done there and Justin gets his R34 GTR, one of the other Supra guys does too from talking to them (never met him) They know what they are doin, the two stout guys normally do them, really good mechanics especially the polish guy I generally get them to do oil changes for me (too messy to do at home) and go to SSI for check ups or anything outside an oil change Only place in Dublin my car fits If you are talking to them, they will know my car (Black Supra)
  12. Think it is the Donabate , Lusk exit , or lissen hall it will have on the sign or all three, it is the next exit after Airside Head for Lusk and adjacent to the turn off for Lusk on the R126 is an Esso garage, the garage is in there(Esso Garage is on your side of the road heading Northbound) If u can best to get a GPS
  13. You need to ring ahead and get booked in
  14. Yes, if you want a specialest and to ensure your car is running as it should be Cant recommend Colin and Marty enough, they know these cars inside out, from Dublin you could do it in a little over an hour
  15. Blakes Cross out by me can do any car, ramp is sunk into the ground; guys there do a good job. They know how to use the equipment, which helps (it is on the swords roiad heading towards lusk- 5 mins from Swords) it is about 80 euro http://www.globalvoicetel.co.uk/
