  7. Goin with Ian's Guide alright, I will get the SuperSpark coil packs next I think No other Supra's around here I am afraid to try parts so it will be up SSI if the clips dont work
  8. Didnt do the seals or clean up the oil in the spark plug well if thats what u call it Breather pipes need replacing so waiting on them too Dont know if it matters but it appears to happen only after 2nd tubbie comes online 3500-4K rpm Is it ok to use autoglym engine cleaner to clean up the oil with the spark plugs still in ?
  9. Got full service everything done at Supra Specialist over here a few weeks ago , running great then two weeks ago she wont go over 1.0 bar ;.0.9 bar Nothing changed or touched Miss fire, so this is why I changed the plugs , they where last done at the start of the Summer
  10. It started two weeks ago so taught it was the spark plugs, but replacing them didnt solve it, so New breather Cam pipes and Clips , I will see if the clips do the trick Anything else obvious i should check?
  11. when you say coil or coil plug thats coil pack clip or coil pack? Spark plugs just changed on Saturday and to be honest the Clips have seen better days
  12. Was talking to Marty, you dont know till you look at it Just a hassle they are so far away
  13. it was the only place on Oakley UK site for Ireland that do prescription lenses hmmm
  14. Got you, so in theory you could put in E85 on petrol or vise versa and let the ECU idenitfy the optimum map So an ECU that maps itself, Ryan might be out of a job soon
  15. The Breather cam pipes need replacing so was goin to do all 6 Coil pack clips as well and see if it is cured If not up to SSI
  16. Just changed the Plugs on Saturday, no joy Found plug one oil on her but looks like the Cam Seals are weeping and god knows for how long could be up to a year
  17. Didnt know the ECU had the ability to generate the mapping Algorithm on the fly, was under the impression it was like an on/off switch either u are on the E85 map or the pump fuel map Logic makes sense, now to dtermine if indeed the E85 here is 100% E85 Interesting how it would identify E5 thanks Marty

    Alco-laser

http://www.russia-ic.com/news/show/8212/ Engineers from St. Petersburg developed “Alco-laser” (a unique sensor, which detects alcohol vapours inside a moving car) and displayed it at largest industrial fair in European Hannover Messe – 2009. The device contains a special laser, which is safe for eyes. The sensor is able to detect alcohol vapours inside a moving car through a windscreen, which is not made of solar tinted glass. Laser’s sensitivity is about 1 part of alcohol per million of other particles, which is equal to 1 liter (or quart) of beer or 100 grams of vodka. The sensor is installed as high as several meters above the road and, when alcohol vapours are detected, passes information about the car of a possible drunken driver to the nearest road police station. Police officers will then determine, whether a driver of a passenger drank alcohol.
  20. Can you do this and have a flexi Fuel sensor ? Alot of thrust has to go into the Mapper and the Flexi Fuel sensor
  21. How do I Diagnose what cylinder it is? If all Coil Packs are working? If Coil Pack Clips are ok?
  22. It would be interesting to see if it would make a saving but at least you will get more power hopefully, Normally E85 was a hell of alot cheaper nearly 40cent cheaper
