  1. Hmmm, I never use to ; it is in the dry too but in saying that I got a puncture 2 weeks back so the Driver Tyre is New and the passengers is 12 months old now This might be the issue
  2. I am in Ireland but mine was 800 pound installed; looks like it is 564 in UK. I would ask around for recommended installers in your area, the alarm is only as good as its installation http://www.dragoncaraudio.co.uk/car-alarms-portsmouth.html Clifford AvantGuard 5.5 with Intellistart • Valid Cat 1 insurance ready installation certificate, • Intellistart remote start, • Tilt/Motion & Glass Tamper sensor, • High spec. top of the range Clifford car alarm. Supplied and expertly fitted for £480 +VAT (£564 inc VAT)
  3. How are things Nigel, was looking at this alot lately and was thinking the 35r might get boring very quickly. From what I understand talking to Colin in SSI, in comparison to BPU ,you will just gain marginally. But in saying that, I think the most important aspect is to have a generic setup so you can swap Turbos with minimal outlay. I am between the To4z and the 35r Based on researh so far, for backup/support for parts and quality I would go with Paul's Kit (Whifbitz) and a Solaris S6GP unit RyanG supplies Marty in SSI, installed a few of Pauls Kits now and is impressed with fitment/quality of components and support, the only other option I would even consider is the HKS kit but then future Support and supply of replacement parts will have a longer turnaround time. Who knows how long HKS will support the 2jz Kits For me I would leave the Engine as close to OEM spec, too many horror stories of build engines Whifbitz Kit (Generic setup to allow Turbo upgrade with minimal outlay) TO4Z or 35R Turbo Solaris S6GP Carbonetic Twin Clutch Whifbitz Garett intercooler Setrab Oil cooler 20/25 Row OEM Bosch Fuel Pump Fuel Rail?? Injectors?? Probably try stick to mainstream like Bosch TRD Diff Cams?? Titan, HKS or Whifbitz Billet PHR Oil Pump or OEM ?? Would let Marty decide Whifbitz Billet Pulleys Intake Pletnum?? PHR new Pletnum seems to be getting good results but woul leave it up to Marty I think the most important thing is the support: availabilty if you need to replace any parts; at least Paul is only over the pond so turnaround time should be minimal
  4. Didnt know that, every day is a school day; not that it matters in Ireland when you say Thatham Approved. you might as well be talking to brick wall But I was also under the impression Thatham Approved also indicated the quality behind how the Alarm unit is constructed, components are of a certain grade/Standard Even not beening seen as Thatham Approved with remote start in the eyes of an insurance company at least you are assured the Alarm is spec to a high level and high standard. Making it more difficult to bypass than other alarms, it is only a deterant and if your have a better deterant than the other car hopefully they will think twice

  17. She is a stunning car, one of if not the cleanest R34 I seen in Ireland; stunning car especially in black. Even has the new car smell inside ha ha Shane did have Eddie Urvines ex-Supra on hybrids, I would prefer the R34 to his ex-Supra The Skyline has never seen the rain here and he rents a garage to store her; if you ask me this car needs to be driven
  18. Si, do you have a price on the TRD guages

Just checked I have them a year and a half, and still look as new I didnt want the reflectors think they take to look off the car , so I just swap over my other lenses for MOT. Just waiting on the LED License Plate setup now for Ric to develop
