  1. Took the car into work twice this week, 102 miles , down the motorway; 28.5 MPG
  2. Hey How do I know what pins are E1 and TE1 in the diagnostics port? It is the Engine light that emits the code OR the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light)?
  3. Thanks, do you know if it is the MIL Light that emits the code pulses or the actual Engine light
  4. Hey Re-Soldered the light cluster last week, and noticed the engine light was on for a 60 seconds after a quick boost in 3rd. I was reading up this thread ; where are E1 and TE1 in the diagnostics port so I can get the code it is throwing. It is the Engine light that emits the code OR the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light)? My MIL does not work http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35920-How-To-Check-the-diagnostics-codes These might be whats causing it Current Issues Misfire -- Coil pack clips are knackered so I need to replace them Need to check Coil packs Cam Gasket Seals are weeping, oil in the park plug well may be causing a misfire too Battery is not holding the charge so maybe a weak battery is causing the Engine light? Everything is getting done at the end of the month just dont want to damage anything, I just drive her the weekend (cruise), so she should be OK?
  5. Seriously man , click the link and read about it HKB http://www.driftworks.com/shop/inter...hi-subaru.html Genuine HKB Steering Wheel Boss Kits from Japan! These bosses are double drilled so work with both Nardi/Personal and Momo/Sparco/OMP steering wheels! All HKB boss kits are a 'correct' fit and fully featured for the application. They provide plug and play horn operation, indicator self cancelling, airbag light cancelling, Hicas operation and cruise control function amongst other features (depending on application). Please see the table below for a full application list.

  8. Marty said to me "I Will never break a Supra", but he forgot to add Colin will.Last time I was up a Glanza was outback on Kildare reg and some max power saxo, MKIV shell, the only MKIII was the black one out front. I dont think you can even call it a MKIII, it was in a poor state but the single under the hood redeemed it Just wating on my spark plugs and PIAA horns ,I will see if I can stretch to Superspark coil packs too. planning thurs/Friday first week in May. I will see how colin is fixed but will let you guys know
  9. Verdi prostock rods! Made from a special steel that Verdi have bought from Audi Motorsports that they developed for their race engines in IMSA. Now they are used in Prostock dragracing and they are pretty much the same weight as GRP aluminium rods, but they dont fatigue (ever) like the GRP's. Anybody heard of these?
  10. Jake did you see Colin has a MKIII now, cant wait to see it next month. Hopefully he will give me a spin around to the ATM in it http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/218061_10150214399925663_716385662_8687401_4405518_n.jpg
  11. Tahnks for all the advice , looking at the 350D currently. Can get it 2nd hand for 200-250 euro with some bits forget what they have on offer. Have not come across a 450D 2nd hand yet
  12. Have mine fitted a few weeks now, car is running sweet
  13. Thanks for all the info, will definetly check out the http://www.talkphotography.co.uk site, looks like I will go for a 450D
  14. Was thinking of buying an SLR 2nd hand, around 250-300 budget.I can up the budget if something is worth the extra. More so as a hobby , just messing around with the camera, mainly car photos and capturing moving objects, detailed pics of nature etc What about the 350D or 450D Canon? I definetly need a LCD screen on the rear, plus what are the tips for buying 2nd hand? I heard you should check the Num of Shutter counts?
  15. Just had a quick look at the window trim, looks like the stuff is coming off. It rained today, 10-15 hrs after application. where the small beads of water rested, you can see the outline on the window frame.(looks like it has peeled off) I cleaned it with Alcohol , will get it up to Ians and do it indoors with the steam cleaner or see what he has. I will see what the autoglym engine degreaser has in it.
  16. http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=69525 http://gtechniq.com/resource-centre/3s-for-cars/exterior-coatings/c4-permanent-trim-restorer/?getfile=98074a67a01dd1b1bc5f4502460a4945&fname=c4_application_instructions.pdf
  17. Anybody have any tips on how to get the SuperResin Polish out from between the grooves on the window frame
  18. It is not so much applying it , its trying to get the trim in as New condition(absolutly zero dirt) Once you put this stuff on it bonds to the plastic, if you have any dirt on it it will get sealed in
  19. I used it on them, they have a wet now. I want to check if they still look wet after 24hrs so will take a look tonight. But it did bring them up nicely,I also did the rubber items near the door latch
  20. I think a Brush is the way to go alright, I tried the pads supplied but very difficult to get between the grooves I just have to be careful, I only have 15ml but it is suppose to do the scuttle panel 2-3 times over
  21. I tried it on the Window Surrounds/air box/door rubbers/ 50% of the scuttle guard, they look wet now. Will let you know if it lasts I need to do the rest of the scuttle guard, nightmare to get it clean and I reckon a paint brush is my best bet to get the C4 between the grooves.
  22. I got the Gtechniq Trim restorer, was told to use methylated spirits to clean the trim; Would Vodka do?
