I have the PS3 Media server installed on my PC (win 7); if I connect my laptop to the network via a ethernet cable Ps3 picks up the Media server. But if I am connected over the wireless to the home network , the Ps3 cannot see the media server, is it possible to do this wireless?

I want a Media Drive for my Network Spec I need is 1 TB min DNLA certified Mainly for use with the PS3 as my media station (USB 2.0 is all is required); movies and Music The file system needs to be Fat32 to work with the consoles so will have to go with that. Budget 70-80 pound I would like to have an ethernet connection so I can hook up to my home network and access anywhere in the house plus the Xbox can use it. Any suggestions, was looking at the Buffalo Ministation 1TB USB 2.0 Slimline Portable External Hard Drive but I would really like an ethernet connection

Dont want to disconnect items I did not touch, think I will focus on the loom connections around the dash

I currently use Vuze to stream my items to the PS3 so I presume if I put this PS3 media server on my laptop with a larger 1 tb disk drive , I will be on the right track

Thats what I am thiinking, I hve the PS3 as my media hub ; must look up PS3MS. Is that freeware? Just ready due to Fat32 file structure the PS3 needs its is limitied to what it can do
