  5. I have the PS3 Media server installed on my PC (win 7); if I connect my laptop to the network via a ethernet cable Ps3 picks up the Media server. But if I am connected over the wireless to the home network , the Ps3 cannot see the media server, is it possible to do this wireless?

  11. I want a Media Drive for my Network Spec I need is 1 TB min DNLA certified Mainly for use with the PS3 as my media station (USB 2.0 is all is required); movies and Music The file system needs to be Fat32 to work with the consoles so will have to go with that. Budget 70-80 pound I would like to have an ethernet connection so I can hook up to my home network and access anywhere in the house plus the Xbox can use it. Any suggestions, was looking at the Buffalo Ministation 1TB USB 2.0 Slimline Portable External Hard Drive but I would really like an ethernet connection
  12. Got the I7 processor, Asus motherboard 6gb of ram so will see how it goes thanks for the help
  13. Hey mark, cant bring the Supra I am smashed and a 1/4 of a tank of petrol left ha ha for the month, have to get a loan off my dad to tie me over yet still have no cash for Supra Petrol. Will try and bum a lift off Ian in the R34, was never in a skyline so would be a nice run. I better pack the toolbox , you know what those Datsuns are like
  14. Was going to do that and rule out the loom
  15. Does anybody know where I could get a schematic to tell me what each pin is on the speedo loom
  16. thanks will try that sequence of elimination thanks
  17. Thanks man, it really is a nightmare to find the source. Needle in a hay stack
  18. Dont want to disconnect items I did not touch, think I will focus on the loom connections around the dash
  19. I currently use Vuze to stream my items to the PS3 so I presume if I put this PS3 media server on my laptop with a larger 1 tb disk drive , I will be on the right track
  20. Thats what I am thiinking, I hve the PS3 as my media hub ; must look up PS3MS. Is that freeware? Just ready due to Fat32 file structure the PS3 needs its is limitied to what it can do
  21. Anybody?, what are my next steps to trouble shoot?
  22. Was thinking of just getting a 1tb drive hooked up to the playstation
  23. Performance based , so I reckon Ram and chipset plus harddisk space. Graphics is not important, no gaming or hardcore flash required. developing business apps for example credit card transaction service
