  1. One of the guys over here took a Supra for a test drive , Whine sound normal to you. I dont think it is as loud in mine She is a Jspec 183km k6wif0wpPXU
  2. I like that alot, only critisim is : I would like to see the spolier edge blend in/ taper off into the rear quater panel. Looks too sharp an edge on the section that bolts to the boot lid, it interfers with the lines on the rear quater panels

  4. I am not one to complain! I normally would ask why are they so expensive!
  5. Interesting read; I have a Carbonetics Triple in my car last 3 years plus (not too sure how long it was in the car in Japan) but I have zero issues. I did read the instructions on the clutch and was aware not to slip her from more than 2-3 secs; but them again my car is only BPU. The only thing I do not like about the Clutch is the heavy pedal, I just presume it was installed in Japan because the orginal owner had big plans for the car. My release bearing is creaking now, when you engage the clutch, needs a regrease but going to replace it for good measure. You guys have had alot of experience installing them at this stage, I see carbonetics said "the Carbonetic Supra clutch is a little heavier on the foot than all our other clutches, but its only marginal and feels a tad heavier than stock" Mine is about 60%-75% heaver than stock, my friend cannot even press it down ha ha; I was going to replace the master clyinder too but maybe it is a heavy pressure plate! Two Q's If i get all OEM fittings (release bearing, flywheel bolts etc) I presume these will all fit? Is you clutch heavy, 60%-75% heaver than stock? Car was always like this
  6. My freind rang me last nite asking how to set it up but I never seen or heard of anybody using or having a Commander unit for the HKS V-Con pro. As far as he was told the unit dsplays the usual RPM, Speed, etc (what ever the ECU logs), unlike the Apexi Power FC commander where you can configure the ECU this just gives you the abilty to access the ECU data. Looking on HKS website the closest I can see is the CAMP 2 system but unit is a decoder of the ECU's log and does not come with an LCD screen; gives you the ability to access the ECU's data and display it on your inCar Mutimedai player for example (via the Video in) Anybody hear or see a Commander similar to the Apexi Power FC unit with LCD for the HKS V con Pro? Cannot find any pics/info online
  7. Seen them alright , they are made by Austrialian company Superspark! the New whifbitz ones are the same too but cheaper at 265 vs 305 from PHR Not too sure how the SSI ones are 180 though! or if they are Superspark too

  15. augment bonnet damper http://www.augment.jp/
  16. Hey I bought a set of New Top Secret bonnet struts about 2 yrs back now but they fail to keep up the bonnet and never did keep the bonnet up! They are really nicely machined and cost me a packet , is it possible to get these re-gassed or some how stiffened? They are funtionally pointless at the moment and looks crap having to use the stock bonnet stay! I did get them for function but paid the extra for the nicely machined strut
  17. Was on the EliteAuto Clean stand This is the pinnacle moment Ian realised he should of bought a Toyota xByGFmEv8nU This is why I have to stay behind him in the Supra!; I will get you back for the "JDM Doll" Sticker on the back of the Supra and sausages up the exhaust!!. People laughing at me driving back _iGv8lgQfzI
  18. I tried the cotton bud and Autosol but its still manky; maybe a steam cleaner next! No harm in asking, with a Cadbury's Cream egg everybody eats it differently! How do you clean yours!
  19. 1) Does anybody have a good way to clean the Key hole on the door? 2) The Mesh Grill, do most members only get roughly 12 months out of it before it needs a touch up ; I normally paint it on the car with Hammerite and spray the bonnet vents! My Bumper is a nightmare to get on and off. Would a powder coat last longer? 3) Whats the best way to clean the engine, I used the Autoglym Engine cleaner and it has made the intake go milkey color (looks like Lime scale) , is it possible to restore it to its matt metal color?
