  3. Are knight racer spacers any good, I see they do a 60.1 bore
  4. Thanks, Miguel the idiot in Newera imports , first of all ordered the completely incorrect offset for my volk wheels, and,now I realise the spacers are completely wrong too, I paid close to 300 gbp for the spacers Really pissed off

  11. World's most over-the-top garage cost $6 million, has a hydraulic elevator http://www.autoblog.com/2012/04/11/worlds-most-over-the-top-garage-cost-6-million-has-a-hydrauli/ Did we have a thread a good year or two back of all the worlds garages (Personal home car storage) 25 dollars in electrictiy each time you open the garage cps42IRMGFE
  12. When you say normal, is it the Acid Battery as opposed to the Calcium?
  13. I have the battery relocated to the boot , can I use a Halfords Calcium battery inside the car? My friend has one in his R33 Skyline but since the Supra is a Liftback is it dangerous to use it inside? Just looking for alternatives to getting a yellow top Optima battery, Calcium battery is readily available over here and a fraction of the cost plus has an longer warranty
  14. Too messy and expensive I am afriad , 55 euro for the test and 160 euro as well each year to cat and decat Thats over 200 euro before they even fail me
  15. Over in Ireland because my car is 93 the emissions pass threshold is very high but recently they brought in a new rule: Even if the car passes emissions, they can fail you if you dont have a complete system; I might get away with it because I have a 2nd sport CAT but they will see the first cat is missing; maybe they will not realise the Supra normally has 2 CATS Worse case can I gut my first Cat and run BPU safely? Annual test over here now and its expensive to get teh CATS swapped over (65 pound a go-- 130 gbp to Cat it then decat it again after the test) Starts to get a bit $$$
  16. I dont know, since the Supra carpet has fairly thick fibers ; will spray paint not be too thick and get caught in the fibers rather than absorbed? One of the guys I heard over here did his parcel shelf, looked good but faded after a few weeks. Definetly dont fancy taking to carpet out again! Hopefully the Fabric spray works well,I will post some pics! The mid-night black looks really black!
  17. Car was never in a crash, you would see the repair if it was (as you said it would have to be a big shunt to do that) and I am sure the Supra Specialists/ mechanics would of asked me or commented. I am not too sure if you can adjust the TRD strut but it was only a little off, we didnt try too hard to get it to fit , it was raining, dark and freezing out; I am sure with a little juggle it would fit. I might of made the mistake of putting one side on first; you might need to put the two sides down on the struts in tandem ,It is over five years ago but I do remember it was a very tight fit! But I was not too concerned about getting the struts to bolt up, but more concerned about bonnet clearence. I had the strut bar sitting on the spark plug cover, I know it is suppose to be a few mm above but it highlighted suspected main issue; bonnet clearance. You might get away with a thinner bar, like one of the carbing strut braces I have seen a few pictures of TRD cars with the TRD strut fitted , was always confused why the TRD website said it does not fit was just lucky enough to be able to try it before I bought one.
  18. car interior video is here, just ordered a can for 20 euro; see how it goes http://www.fabricspray.ie/upholstery-spray-paint
  19. Quoted, Retro cars dublin has on a promo at the moment , book her in , I did and didnt have to put any cahs upfront plus he was ok when I said I want to get her done before the Summer is out, we didnt agree on a specific date , he said just ring him a few days before I am hoping to have the dreaded road tax payed in May and going to book an NCT but keep it on the long finger till I can get some new tyres, Guards cant say anything if I have her booked in http://www.retrocars-services.com/blog/special-offer-upto-50-off-schutz-underseal-treatment-148
  20. Hey , I was going to try this stuff http://www.fabricspray.ie/shop/midnight-black KAVc2pYwpZI

    Underseal

Was going to get this done soon, any advise or experience with the products? Correct ones to use? Worth getting the Cavity wax? Cleaning the under underside of your car thoroughly, treatment of surface rust with rust converter, painting of rust treated areas with rust stopping primer, areas with damaged seam sealer re-sealed and finally two coats of Schutz underseal. Other items that will be treated and sprayed are: roll bars, tank straps, wishbones etc etc -- €180 Also available cavity wax (including doors) using Bilt-Hamber – Dynax S50 at an extra cost of: €60 for very a small car, €80 for a small car, €100 for a medium car, €120 for a large car and €140 for an extra large car.
  22. AFAIK all air boxes on the JZA 80 are the same? 50% off fitting ha ha , it only takes 2 mins to fit Part Number 33-2054
  23. Was just about to post about that! Don had the trd brace on his blue Supra , I tried the TRD strut brace on my TRD and it did not fit! My car was too wide(strut to strut) It was a good few mm off, the width of the strut brace was not long enough Some TLC the car has potential
  24. From reading up on them Falken FK452's are discontinued due to EU legislation on road noise
  25. Teacher: If I gave you 2 cats and another 2 cats and another 2, how many will you have? Johnny: Seven, Sir. Teacher: No, listen carefully. If I gave you 2 cats, and another 2 cats and another 2, how many will you have? Johnny: Seven. Teacher: Let me put it to you differently. If I gave you 2 apples, and another 2 apples and another 2, how many will you have? Johnny: Six. Teacher: Good. Now if I gave you 2 cats, and another 2 cats and another 2, how many will you have? Johnny: Seven!!! A very angry Teacher: Where the f*ck do you get seven from?!?!? Very angry Johnny: Because I've already got a f**kin' cat at home!!!
