  1. Hey She takes a t5 led bulb, I got some off Ebay but none of them fit into the plastic casing Does anybody know of a plug and play slim line bulb?
  2. Did you try SSI , normally Colin has one or two Supra's breaking slammedmind on DTD also works for the Toyota parts department out near Drogheda
  3. I am not too sure if it is the case over here, sure I guess I will find out on the 12th Will keep the thread updated http://www.ncts.ie/pdf/NCT%20Manual%...May%202012.pdf Page 47 4. Where HID (High Intensity Discharge) bulbs are fitted switch on the headlights and check that cleaning devices such as headlamp 4. wipers or high pressure water jets are present and work. Check where possible that the headlamp levelling device is working. Notes: 4. HID headlamps must be installed as a complete type-approved system. The system will include automatic cleaning. HID headlamps can be recognised by: a) the light having a bluish tinge, b) the light taking a few seconds to reach full intensity, c) the headlamp having an igniter module/inverter behind the headlamp, d) the headlamp having ”DC” (for HID dipped beam), “DR” (for HID main beam), or “DCR” (if both are HID) marked on the lens. This marking should be visible from the exterior of the vehicle but in some cases the markings may be hidden under the bonnet and this may need opening to obtain a clear view.
  4. Thanks , thats great; excatly how mine is setup As I am in Ireland we have the NCT , HID lamp reasons for failure (not too sure how strict they are) 16 Automatic headlamp levelling device not operating or manual headlamp levelling device cannot be operated from driver’s seat. 17 Mandatory headlamp cleaning device not present. 18 Mandatory headlamp cleaning device not operating.
  5. Are they UK spec Supra's , I know they have at least the headlamp washer as standard Just doing my research incase I fail, I will throw her in as is but just want to be ready From what I am reading it is not getting inforced
  6. It is the bellof kit so it looks as though it is plug and play but I am not 100% as I dont have another Supra for comparison Hopefully somebody will know if it is just as simple as plug in a set of standard bulbs
  7. Hey My car came in from Japan with HID's but with the new rules in the test (headlamp cleaning and levelling systems) is it difficult to revert back to OEM to pass thanks
  8. I have the Sard Mig Arouse on at the moment very similar if not quieter than the Tanabe Medallion (3 boxes), I reckon she is in around low 80db mark I am looking for something with a bit more DB and the angled exhausted look; was interested in the HKS system due to build quality, fitment and my mate has it on his R33 ; looks, sounds nice! But I will conceed it is not as quiet as you would expect! I would prefer if it was quieter
  9. Thanks that made up my mind! What do you guys do for mot ?
  10. Thanks Nic! Thats Nice, I am going for the Stereo type angled looked Does the rear pipe stick out far, she looks fairly flush Did anybody have any experience with fitting these ? fairly straight forwarrd, few bolts and gaskets, all hardware and instructions supplied in the box?
  11. Anybody have any pics of the exhaust and it fitted? http://www.wbperformance.com/image_manager/attributes/image/image_5/38789430_9183004.jpg
  12. I heard Dinitrol is good stuff , just Waxyol I think is the one to steer clear of. Was told durability of Waxyol is not long, I used it myself on one or two small area's just to test it out. I found any heat will cause it to return to its liquid form, if it is raining out good bye Waxyol. I enen tried it opn the inner sill on the door below the hinges, I found I had to reapply it on a regular basis ; so far so good with Schultz (3-4 months after application) I used Schultz because it is what the Classic car restoration company I used to seal the car recommended
  13. Schults is the better than Waxyol Clean off all surface rust, you can get chemicals to neutralise it. Then use schultz underseal, takes about 24 hours for it to Cure after application, once cured it is like a rubber sealant Dont use any stone chip to underseal as it is prone to cracking You can also use Billet hammer cavity wax to do inside the sills from the inside, lift back the carpet to get access (Dynax S-50) Use Zinc on Metal componets (suspenion arms); you are galvanising the metal components with the Zinc Spray (3M™ Zinc Spray 16-501 ) Some Billet Hammer Products http://www.cleancar.ie/corrosion-removal.html Zinc Spray http://www.cleancar.ie/bilt-hamber-electrox.html Photos of it cured ; it will get soon look OEM after a few weeks of driving from what I am told(Loose the shine)
  14. Hey Dunk I did up all the deminsions for mplavery on here ; I cannot find the pic but hopefully he still has it Template
  15. Why are you not getting Supra Specialists Ireland to do the work? I taught ECC was just mapping the car?
  16. This is only for members who pay extortionate amounts of Motortax!
  17. I signed up, some nice discounts! They accepted my Supra even though it is a Japanese Import http://toyotatlc.ie/homepage
