  1. With it on, I did notice I could go through the gears a lot smooth; the gearbox doesn't move around as much
  2. She bolts onto the strut and into two OEM threaded points on the stock intake; not too sure if you have a stock intake?
  3. I can get a PIC tomorrow, don't have any off hand These are for lefthand drive cars, I needed to cut and reweld the bracket the damper bolts to on the strut; other than that it was a perfect fit
  4. I have a weapon r on mine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WEAPON-R-ENGINE-TORQUE-DAMPER-93-98-TOYOTA-SUPRA-TURBO-/300404093347?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item45f17ab1a3
  5. thanks Rob! Anybody have any pics , where this is?
  6. Just talking to my Mate who is a mechanic; he reckons the Spring in the Clutch pedal is going; she has a heavy clutch so makes sense the spring might be on the way out! Fairly universal part? the foot pedal spring?
  7. It is strange , I have the car 6 years now and it only started doing this in the last 2 years but consistently in the last 12 months Annoys the crap out of me , especially at traffic lights ; sounds like something is wrong with your car
  8. That's what I taught, but it is the inside clutch pedal spring
  9. Hey My clutch pedal squeaks on press/de-press; I cooper greased it up but it only lasts a short while (4-5 hrs of driving), I tried copper Grease and brush from a tin and the spray Any ideas for a longterm solution to cure the squeak?
  10. Thanks Lee, I will take a look; just don't want to drill holes in the car if I don't have to
  11. I was under the impression it bolted up to oem mounts ; not to worry , i will just sell it on
  12. Do you have to drill the frame, i don't have holes there
  13. Hey, how do you fit these; I taught they use OEM mounting points?
  14. Have the demon tweaks brochure at home and seen the UK manufacturer Drift or I-Drift does JAZ80 specific seat rails for 72gbp each I don't see them on the website but they also do copies of Bride seats , Porsche GT3 http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/seats-reclining/drift-estoril-carbon-recliner-seat
  15. At the end of 2012 it was 1290 euro , quiet the increase! Costing me 1696 euro per year now! I can only afford to pay per quarter Pay for 3 months , drive for 5; They cant take the car off you unless it is over 2 months out, 60 euro fine if you get caught, cheaper than paying tax!
  16. 7/8% is what I see ; not sure on final % increase Supra increase: (1390) up by 7 % to 97.30Euro = 1487.30 euro Supra increase: (1390) up by 8 % to 111.20Euro = 1501.2 euro Per Quarter (392) up by 7 % to 27.44Euro = 419.44 euro (392) up by 8 % to 31.36Euro = 423.36 euro Over the last 12 months this has gone up by 15%
  17. On Excise Duty, he is NOT increasing duty on petrol or diesel WINE, €1 increase on 75cl bottle
  18. Sure we will see at 1430, maybe it is just going to hit the C02 Bracket! They are trying to recapture lost revenue, they messed up the Motortax brackets but people will not be happy if they just hit one bracket! So more then likely hit us all. Last year it was increased by 7.5% for me. 2009 Cars on are based on C02 brackets Pre 2009 cars are based on Engine CC brackets Down here a 2009+ 520D BMW you will pay €160 annual motor tax Under the old system, which based on the engine size of the car (1,995cc) would have meant that motor tax was €660 per year.
  19. Customs are on the ball these days, a few months back they came into the estate with a couple of flat bed trucks and knocked on a few doors; lifted a few cars on NI plates. But some guys seem to get away with it , it is all down to luck! I was going to do it this year but was talked out of it. I might get away with it for a few days or a few months/years but until you hit a checkpoint , then you are on there radar. Revenue check against your PRSI number where you work; trying to argue you live up north and commute is going to be a challenge. I can use Steven's house but he is a few hours away in Derry so likely hood I commute is very slim, but I was going to use my second car (Polo) to say I use it down south (its on South plates) and argue I bring down the Supra the odd Day. But it is just a bit messy with having to change clocks over to MPH etc for the MOT and Customs; considering what the car is I reckon they will make it there mission to catch me out. On the plus side down here, you don't de-register a car so I can still keep my southern plates, I would not have to pay VRT again. If they did force me to put her back on Irish plates. It is an issue with Stolen cars , car is scrapped ; people keep the reg, rob an equivalent Model/Make /Color/ Year and start driving her under the scrapped cars plates. AFAIK they don't check the VIN plate at NCT time (MOT) easy money!
  20. Not at the moment I am afraid Harvard! It all kicks off at 1430 here today!
