  1. We need to have a meet this year, been too long! If anybody has any Idea's , post them up!
  2. Any pics before you have a go at them ; where did you get them?
  3. Got some Titanium the weekend!
  4. One more q, the decat pipes the supra are mainly 2.5 inch ; should you be running 3 inch pipes? I think the his comes with a 2.5 to 3 inch adapter?
  5. thanks Nic, found that when I googled it; they both looked the same but called hiper muffler in the US! Surprised it is a hell of a lot cheaper to get it here versus the UK! Murraymotorsport again !
  6. Is the Hi Power Silent and the SS Hiper Muffler the same exhaust ; they have the same part number: 31019-AT005 Just don't what to order the wrong exhaust, the shop said "SS Hiper Muffler" but they have the same part number: 31019-AT005 thanks
  7. The Best Value I have some across is dressup bolts ; Full Titanium Supra specific kit is 230 dollars; Pro bolts is just crazy $$$$$ The Engine Bay DressUp Kit includes 53 high quality Titanium fasteners for your engine bay and also includes our 10 piece 2JZ-GTE Coilpack Cover Dress Up Kit, and installation guide. It replaces all the Bolts in the engine bay in the pic in the first post 1.Blue 2.Gold 3.Green 4.Polished 5.Purple 6.Black http://www.dressupbolts.com/products/products-page/titanium-fastener-kits/toyota-supra-1993-5-1998
  8. http://ballerbolts.com I priced them up off pro bolts too but they are 100 euro vs 60 euro from Ballerbolts
  9. Bolt Pornnnnnnn! Strut Bolts are M10
  10. The guy who lives next to my parents has all his cars on NI plates last few years , no issues; In Ireland you don't deregister your car so if customs do say anything just put your Irsh reg back on; you don't have to pay VRT again. If you are only driving her the odd time like me; I say the chances of getting pulled is fairly remote. I got the pack from the DVLA with all the forms you need (Pack is free) , think it is around 25 gbp to register her. The only reservations I have is , Insurance, I am paying 650 euro full comp down here; talking to the guys up in NI insurance can be as high as 1000 gbp + ; this negates the saving in Motor tax plus the risk factor for only saving a few hundred is not worth it. If I did have to put her back on Southern plates, I am just afraid the insurance companies down here will not re-insure me at a reasonable premium; I am sure you know what they are like. My friend in NI just bought a house so I was waiting till he bought something before I could look into Insurance prices (needed the post code) ; but this was the show stopper for me. I heard anywhere in around Belfast area it is a nightmare to get insurance If pulled my argument for Customs is I have my second car (Polo 1000cc) on Southern plates ; I just bring down the Supra from NI the odd time. I know they do take you PPSI number and verify if you work down south. Good luck trying to argue have a Supra on NI plates if you live in Cork . I am practicing my NI accent But Colin in SSI(Supra Specialists Ireland) will get her MOT ready for you if you decide to go down this route
  11. That's what I taught, I reckon at least 1500 euro/ 2000 to be very comfortable! Any other good no so expensive trips recommended; Santa Pod festivals?
  12. Hey, what budget would you need? All inclusive I wil add in the extra to get from Ireland to the port and see if it is viable
  13. One of my friends (John) had his Supra commercially registered; DOE time and the guy at the center was a real $%££$. He insisted he have Toyota headed paper indicating the weight of the car; he would not accept a print out from a weigh bridge, it had to be Toyota official, Of course Toyota would not give him anything, he get a friendly DOE'r in the end. Nigel tried a couple of years back to get his changed from private to commercial, the guy in the local government office said no. Even though it had all the relevant regulations implemented to cover it as a commercial vehicle. You are taking about 1K. Not too sure if Nigel did go down solicitor route or not but I think the guy in the office told him he would inform the guards if he did it. You may get away with it in some area's but not in a big city like Dublin, if you are stopped once ; you will be a target Commercial Vehicles by law should only be driven between business hours 9-5; outside of these hours you need to prove you are still working if pulled. It was never enforced over here but they are clamping down. I reckon you will have better luck registering the car on NI plates
  14. John did you get yours off dress up bolts ? I am currently looking at ProBolts but they are very $$$$$; just for the 6 nuts for the suspension struts ; Probolts is about 100 euro !!! Dress up bolts is doing a Supra specific kit for $279 dollars ; with 58 titanium pieces ; I reckon to get the same kit off Probolts it is easy double the cost if not triple The bolts I need for the Steering hub are around 38 gbp off probolts but the Mountain Bike shops will do the M5 bolts X Qty 6 for around 20 euro delivered (Titanium); big difference in prices I priced up Qty 20 M10 Stainless steel bolts off Probolts , around 100 euro; they seem very $$$
  15. Does anybody know the Thread Pitch Bolt Diameter Length For the Bolts in the engine bay? Particularly the Strut nuts http://www.dressupbolts.com/wp-content/gallery/toyota-supra-1993-5/supra-bay.jpg
  16. Would they be ok for Steering wheel snap off kit ; connecting the plate to the Hub boss or go Titanium? http://www.murraymotorsport.ie/assets/products/2314/product/R1000H_03.jpg?1283876979
  17. They are for engine dress; just wondering about using Aluminium as they are a lot cheaper!
  18. cool thanks Damien; I was thinking Some Aluminium for the interior Hub boss and Titanium for Critical bolts like strut mounts ; never knew that about Aluminium (prone to corrosion) Just priced up some strut Titanium nuts 17 euro each minus shipping ha ha
  19. Hey I was going to get some Aluminium Blots/nuts ; are these ok to use on the Struts and engine cover etc Engine dress mainly Or should I use Titanium ; is Aluminium bolts safe to use?
  20. I created the other thread but taught it is worth a mention in the Supra specific section Looks like a nice concept though! Genuinely excited about the Auto Salon now!
  21. Should be revealed at the Tokyo Auto Salon from the 11th Gazoo Bringing Rebodied Twincharged GT86 to Tokyo (Styling is to commemorate 20th anniversary of the Toyota Supra) http://alt-a.bitg.net/nightmobile/cars/images2/230000/8000/500/238519.jpg http://alt-a.bitg.net/nightmobile/cars/images2/230000/8000/500/238518.jpg
