  1. I used ngk before but had to take them out and put Denso ik22 back in She did not like the ngk at all
  2. Might be worth a look App for Android http://www.mycartracks.com/
  3. I am running a Twin/triple Carbonetic Clutch last six years on mine , she is only BPU but I did use the car as a daily driver for the work commute for a few years ; the pedal is as easy to use in traffic, I use the car for the odd track day too ; no issues to date Only downside, she is noisy when dis-engaging the clutch but she is a multiplate clutch

  5. Just as an alternative, IFS 2013- August Bank Holiday! Looks like they have camping https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8XK_WRBiV9NdnRyT3VBOHBsWWM/edit?usp=sharing Car clubs attending The Porsche Club BMW E30 Owners Ferrari Club of Ireland BMW Drivers Mini Club of Ireland Maserati Club of Ireland
  6. I think this is a better option than a full respray; I would like to keep the standard gloss black look but would it look like a vinyl upclose; I see 3M have an option but all the cars seem to have matt wraps, I have yet to see a full wrap in a gloss black. What are the options if you have a stone chip , paint defects ; this will show through the wrap or how do you prevent this? Washing your car I heard to use washing up liquid (detergent), can you get swirl marks in the wrap?
  7. Snap-off Quick Release R1000 (Hub Fitment) FIA (Bolt-On) http://www.murraymotorsport.ie/products/snap-off-quick-release-r1000-hub-fitment-fia
  8. Looking good! Did you sell her, just saw it on Jurgens FB page it is leaving?
  9. Its out of our control, if it happens it happens, no point worrying about it ; it is only a proposal
  10. This legislation is more geared towards converting commercial vehicles into passenger vehicles with shoddy unsafe workmanship/ adding axles to goods vehicles. With regards car users and aftermarket parts, I can fully understand and I am for ensuring people are using parts fit for the purpose intended, I know too many idiots over here using shiny coloured Chinese wheel nuts and wheels coming off. They wonder why! Hopefully what comes of this is ensuring cars are running safe components. But it is a lot of hot air, I started this thread because from what I read in the Document in terms of UK legislation , it did not sound correct; just wanted some clarification on UK legislation, normally Ireland are selective of UK legislation the general public do not like and implement it here
  11. I don't think the twist lock ones work, I have some at home? Do we not need a Wedge type T5?
  12. Sorry for the thread resurrection, the ebay link above has zero T5 left; anybody know what ones fit without modification (blue), ebay link please Not too sure what ones to get, get ones before but they are too long
  13. Out of curiosity , how would you wire the PHR gauges? I notice they said you don't need the OEM speed sensor , is the GPS sensor built into the Speedo? Just from security point of view, somebody could track your car, no?
  14. Thanks, very happy with it; just peed off the MIL light bulb I put in is gone, forgot about the MIL light ; didn't realise it wasn't working till after Really don't want to take it all back out again The bulb in the ignition barrel , the T5 OEM bulb fits fine ; I tried led's but the are all too big (casings on them) Anybody know of a blue Led that is Plug N Play , or do you have to remove the casing on them? T5 LEDs are just too long to get the clear plastic moulding over Might even just use a blue T5 bulb, if I can find one for reasonable $$
  15. Much work involved? Sanded, primed and painted? What sandpaper grit did you use?
  16. Ideally you want to integrate the display into your touchscreen media station , Alpine unit for example It is as simple as plugging in the AV cable into the AUX . but to use the functionality of the Touchscreen you will need to link it via AI.NET; how difficult it is to program I am not sure. But I am sure a physical toggle switch to Navigate the menus would not be too bad No point re-inventing the wheel when companies like Alpine have put a lot of $$ into R&D and User experience
  17. Sure is! Any idea's post them up!
  18. Very Nice! Really tasteful engine bay as usual Would love to get mine done
  19. Sounds awesome! David, love the cow shit strip!
  20. Awesome Dave! Glad you like the exhaust and it has gone to a good home! It is a nice sound on tick over and cruising; she does put out a nice rumble on WOT BPU; NA Supercharger I'd imagine she is a bit louder! Cant wait for the sound clip! I am still in a love / hate relationship with my HKS hi power Silent, on the way to cars and coffee on Sunday I was not a fan but then again I had my body weight in beer the nite before ha ha:)
  21. If you get your ECU remapped, Lower the Suspension etc you need approval If you got a complete overhaul like Inferno, Ikyea Suspension etc A lot of after market parts , imagine the $$ it may cost you to get this accessed and approved! It may finally put modifying Public road cars to sleep over here, in some instances it does state you may need to re-register the car based on its modification(s) They mentioned the UK, Australia, New Zealand in the PDF , I was just wondering at what point do you guys need to declare mods to the DVLA.
  22. Hey They are talking about bringing in legislation here to tackle vehicle modifications If a member modified their Supra, do you need to notify the DVLA? http://www.rsa.ie/en/RSA/Your-Vehicle/Vehicle-Standards/Information-Notes-Consultations--EU-proposals-/Consultations-/Active-Consultations/Consultation-on-Post-Registration-Vehicle-Modifications-/ PDF Quote
