Fuse is fine, sounds like she is priming ; no smell of fuel from the exhaust and nothing in the return feed on turnover Going to throw some fuel in her, she was very low when we got back, just my friend who is a mechanic said it is too much of a coincidence to put it down to out of fuel Maybe a clogged fuel filter, or the filter on the fuel pump?, my line of taught is work from the Fuel pump towards the fuel rail feed hose Fuel pump --> fuel Filter --> Fuel rail

Hey MK1 1.8 Jap import We just finished off fitting a new water pump, timing belt but we went to go start her up and she is turning over but no fuel. We popped off the fuel return feed, nothing is flowing We checked all the wiring, CAS etc and looms in general, fuses ; any tips on what to do next?

Sorry forgot to get back to you, she spools a lot quicker based on the FB settings; I reset my start Duties to 0, she is still peaking around 1.12 mark but a little less in most gears , I need to RAISE Duty Cycle Definitely an improvement for overtaking, she comes on song a lot quicker now; I need an oil change, engine and diff plus I think my exhaust I fitted has started leaking again; getting her serviced on Friday so will turn her up on the way home

Hey I have a Carbonetic LSD, how do you know it needs a rebuild?
-
Hey Drove the car Friday and last nite ; Friday the exhaust did not sound right, louder than normal etc I know the weather is getting hotter but after 10-15 mins driving I need to open the window , it is so hot in there (Like having the Heater on full). This is even at night The heater Matrix is on lowest temp, it works fine , hot/Cold temperature ranges. I just installed a new exhaust not too long ago, I had to use some Exhaust sealant (Holts Gun Gum) around the 2nd down pipe (2nd cat goes); I have a sneaky suspicion she might be leaking again; I presume this will cause the rise in temp in the cabin. I covered the tail pipe with a cloth last night but I didn't see anything obvious leaking, hard to tell though considering the mild weather, Exhaust gases are fairly transparent . Center tunnel does not feel hotter than normal. Servicing her on Friday, so will have her on the ramp to check everything. Anybody have any other tips to check a leaking exhaust? Will the heat damage anything if I need to drive her to the Garage (1hr away)?

Come on Chris, get with the Metric system 2.9/0.0178579673228346= 162.4 Lbs/In front 3.5/0.0178579673228346= 196 Lbs/In rear

Thanks for the feedback The car has all whiteline uprated anti roll bars; interesting the Damper affects the ride comfort so much, I will see if I can find something to explain what is actually happening inside the damper when you adjust the dial. Taking a guess, I presume when you adjust the Damper setting to make the ride stiffer you are shifting the piston , in turn causing the damper to have a shorter stroke and the volume metric capacity of the cylinder is reduced causing the shock oil to compress or thicken, resulting in a more rigid platform. Just in comparison to whats on my car (TRD springs) I was surprised to see the BC setup with such stiff spring rates and looking at Johnnys link, the variance in spring rates available for the car. It has made me think, you really need the damper design matched to the spring rate. I presume the spring rate's on the BC setup are so stiff because you could not have such a wide range of Soft / Track orientated setup unless the springs are ridiculously stiff. At the lowest setting they would bottom out. Taking the above into account, BC are trying to cover a huge range of settings ;I am very skeptical if a Damper setup can be designed to effectively cover such a broad spectrum regardless of cost, some compromise needs to be taken

Hey Just trying to figure out a compromise between a road setup but a somewhat competent track setup; mainly illuminate as much body roll as possible for my friends GTST skyline. Background His current setup is comical on track Tein Springs , kyb rear shocks Tein Springs, OEM Nissan fromt shocks S tech Tein GTST TEIN part number : SKN64-AVB00 Ride Height Drop : -32 / - 30 mm Spring Rate: 2,9 / 3,5 kgf / mm Looking at buying Nismo S Tune setup Spring rate on these are 5.3 Front 4.8 Rear The Supra Question I have the TRD Bilstein setup , which is track focused and not too nice on public roads Front K=10 kgf /mm Rear K=9 kgf /mm Looking at BC BR Setup Front Coilovers : Rubber Top Mount. Front Spring Rate : 14kg/mm (782.2bs/in) Rear Coilovers : Rubber Top Mount. Rear Spring Rate : 10kg/mm (558.7lbs/in) Considering I read a lot of members consider the BC setup as comfortable on the road, just wondering does the dampener has such a drastic impact on the cars setup considering the BC setup is nearly twice the spring rate as the TRD setup ; if they were using the same dampers it would be twice as hard. Can somebody explain why the TRD is ridiculously stiff compared to the BC? Is it also correct to say the Spring rate also affects the ride height of the car? If anybody who is educated in Suspension theory, will the Nismo S Tune give us what we want for the GTST? Illuminate the body roll, increase corner speed Thanks

Might be good as a Sticky Since the TRD LSD was developed , technology has come along alot since: If I was buying an LSD based on the current Market options, what one should I go for (Fast road use, maybe odd track day); maybe Jspec OEM is best? I would like to take into account Relatively normal Oil change intervals, Normal as in annual or 15-20 K KM 1.5 way or 2 way? LSD Oil is available in the EU , nothing that needs something exotic Parts, are readily available now and in the future She doesnt crash and bang, quiet LSD Is it worth getting a 2nd hand TRD LSD over a new one, everybody says they are indestructible

Couldn't see it on goo.net either

Anybody know the Spec? don't see it on Jürgen's Site or the Carsenor.net Jap sites https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/44375_362434223861141_935264407_n.jpg

What was the issue in the end? -
I Prefer the one on the right too If you still at the coffee station, can I have a Tall frap-I-latte-macho-frino-choc-o-frappe, I want the 'Fresh cream' in a longitudinal counter clockwise (with an angled 46 degree conventional wrist twirl) and an even number of Chocolate sprinkle's with a hint of a zesty lavender aroma; and make sure its extra hot

I haven't gone in about 2 years now, I will ask around see how it went but from the pics I have seen, it looked crap. Waste of 20 euro

Went to this the last few years Jim, every scrote in world is there; Mondello allows these idiots get intoxicated via bringing a few cans in the car! Last time (2011 I think) I was there a drunken mess fell against my passenger door and took a chip down to the metal. Last year, a guys TypeR was stolen from the car park, rallied up in Dublin and burnt out Last year too at a Drift day in Mondello, employees out of ** crash repairs (Sponsors of Brendan Stone) got intoxicated in the PITS!! , exposing themselves , with young kids and family's walking around Then one of the drunken idiots taught it would be a good Idea to dance on the roof of a random R32 in the carpark, urinate on it , smash the windscreen etc The guy who owned the R32 was not too pleased to say the least, sure its Mondello; ** crash repairs are still allowed in and around the place! No time for the place to be honest, until they change their views on this behavior and allowing people get intoxicated never mind they are underage scrotes I never actually heard what happen to the poor guy who owned the R32, she was stunning!

Cool thanks, will give it a go
-
They could recommission Roadrunner and have it run the traction control on that car but I don't think it will make any difference with 800 horses on a stock differential
-
Thanks, what's your overall base duty cycle?
-
I would take that with a pinch of salt, who knows what background or IQ some of the guys who post on forums. He is trying to run a 800+ hp drag car with a stock diff, yeah the ECU is the problem ha ha
