  1. Hey Do you have to buy the whole front lower arm to replace the Camber Adjuster ?
  2. I think alot of it is propaganda by the guys selling them, just trying to filter out what parts just lighten your wallet Some of the jargon, would lead you to believe you will end up sitting in the middle of the road playing with pieces of your engine like lego Only if I bought that 90 dollar part LOL - - - Updated - - - Thanks
  3. My list so far TTC mode-- Essentials 1) Aftermarket ecu and mapping is an essential to get the benefit What I need confirmation on is: 1) injectors , Jepecs need uprating 2) Fuel pulsation bypass to get max flow in the stock fuel system 3) 255l Walbro sufficent depending on if upgraded injectors are required Nice to Have but not-essential 1) Cams
  4. Just trying to gauge essential versus Nice to have; I presume a Fuel pulsation bypass is also a requirement
  5. Have the flu coming on , yeah true twin conversion I am nearly sure you need larger injectors running the turbos in Parallel as the Jspecs are maxed out on 100% Duty cycle. Single turbo? I was asking about implications of having bigger injectors than what is required, for future proofing. I used the GTX35r as an indication for my power needs long term; makes better financial sense to buy an injector to suit my long term goals, 650cc injector may suit TTC mode but might be on its limit with a GTX35r, but a 850cc injector will suit both without any implications
  6. What is need for TTC? 650 injectors Cams Standalone ECU Walbro 255L Fuel pump suffice or higher flow rate? Stock Airbox and Panel Filter The next stage is a single conversion Is it problematic to have too large of an injector, for future proofing: Something along the lines of a GTX35R
  7. Hey I want to get a decent tyre , I was looking at the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 R19 96 Y MFS but they dont have an re-enforced tyre wall. XL Tyre code Should this be an issue, should I go for an XL tyre?
  8. Hey Just did a quck tyre calc and for 19 tyres 275 and 285 widths , a 30 profile is the closest to the rolling radius. I currently have a 275 35 profile on there, what are the adverse affects of the rolling radius being out of whack? I know the speedo is not as accurate, is handling affected? My car is low and with a 30 Profile I presume it will be that little bit lower?
  9. Cool , thanks ; hopefully the new valves will do the trick
  10. On the reverse side, I just bought a Koyo Rad off Titanmotorsports ; because it is getting shipped outside the US, why do we still need to pay full retail as though we walked in off the street; should a non-US resident not get a vat and tax rebate? I end up paying US VAT & duties plus EU VAT and Customs
  11. At this stage you would think you could get something that runs via your smart phone
  12. thanks! I never looked into these before because they all where valve type units ; band type is what I need!
  13. I use the same Texaco garage, 5 min drive away; it has the digital unit you set the pressure etc. I definitely can feel the tyres are Low , she normally always shows roughly 28 psi and if I leave it longer (if I was on holidays for example) she can go as low as 25/26psi mark. Some tyres are worse than others but it is a consistent test,it is like this about 1.5 years now; just my usual routine If I want to drive her, straight to the garage first for a pressure top up; pain in the ass so I bit the bullet and got all new valve stems on route ( I hope this fixes it!)
  14. Volk GTC, 2 piece rim I never took them apart or had them apart, I bought them new from Volk. Still as per factory assemble My plan is New Valve stems (VOLK authentic from a Volk authorised dealer) New Tyres If this doesnt work it is the Rim leaking is the next question? What time period should you see a pressure drop over, check pressures monthly?
  15. Thank you Sir, straight to the point I like! One of my friends siad if they are single pot / twin pot it can be either a sticky caliper or the sliders; I never hear of sliders causing it Whats the best way to unstick a sticky caliper
  16. Hey I have some Rays wheels , I only use the Supra the weekend so she sits up for about 5-6 days at a time; I need to top up the pressure on each tyre weekly, on average the Tyre pressures generally drop 3-4 psi all round. I presume this is not normal, I have just ordered some new rays valve stem's to re-valve the wheels. Anything else I can check. which may be causing it?
  17. Hey Just noticed the weekend one of the brake pads on the nearside is gone but the offside has plenty of meat on it. What would cause this, sticky caliper?
  18. Did anybody do this mod yet? Was thinking it may lighten up my clutch pedal M/C from a FZJ75 / FZJ80 Cruiser had the same flange and a reservoir which could be swapped for the JZA80 one http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/tech-conversions/78805-how-make-3-4-jza80-clutch-master-cylinder.html

  20. Don't like the look of them, I think the Braided black weave looks much better A lot of OEM manufactures like Audi use them
  21. Was thinking of getting some braided Vacuum hose to tidy up the engine bay , I think the silicon hoses look tacky Anybody any idea who sells them? I was looking on , but the ID's I think are too big http://www.viperperformance.co.uk/productsearch.php?xscId=9863
