What is the name of the black box on the strut tower behind the Fuse box in the engine bay , on after market ECU's it is normally replaced with a HKS DLI If you disconnect , car cranks but wont start

Yeah going to get them back on the balancing machine , First time I used company B. Normally I use company A but that originally put the tyres back on and balanced them, the wheels needed to be balanced after I put them on the car So third time luckily! Wheels did not have any paint , just the barrels polished; the mounting points on the wheel were not touched (5 spoke mounts to the barrel)

too much of a coincidence, considering I didnt have an issue before the car was off the road What has changed since was the tyres removed for a wheel refurb , Brake Calipers refurbed But I will check the suspension to be safe

All refurbed too Going to get them rebalanced the weekend and go from there

Maybe important info, but it is largely dependant on the motorway road surface, I can have zero vibration for short periods In saying that the MX5 doesn't mirror this behaviour, maybe because it was tuned by Tony&Guy

They are Volk GTC wheels and she was fine when I put her off the road , has only done a few hundred KM's since and 80% motorway Too much of a coincidence to be a buckled wheel , I did have the wheels apart to refurb them but she is a two piece wheel and all torqued up to 28nm If anything I say it is that , but I taught a wheel balancing machine would show up a buckle in the wheel? Hi I got the car 4 wheel aligned the weekend and the front wheels balanced The vibration is not as bad as before, but still noticeable enough to cause me to lack confidence in her , I did check tyre pressures and they are all 34 psi with the exception of the drivers rear 29 psi ( maybe a slow puncture, need to look at it again) Other than the wheel balance , anything else I need to look out for?

You can get the Tuner nuts in steel , if I remember correctly they are 60 euro for a set off Proparts Black , blue, red, titanium

What Denso #Part Number does a VVTI Jspec 2jzgte ? DOX-0228 too? or the DOX-0110 From what I can see the difference between the DOX-0110 ans DOX-0228 is the cable length

Was told it is good practice to get new mounting bolts too I reckon they are only about 4 pound each so wont break the bank

I didn't paint the mounting brackets dude , it was overlooked I was thinking that myself though , will test them again in a few km

I could tighten my fronts with the car on the ground and wheels on, just turn the wheel out , 17mm socket and Ratchet Rear Calipers, I could only get the rear lower bolts with a ratchet and Top bolts I will need wheels off

Hey Imi I have the Carbonetic triple, not too sure what Flywheel it has, did you get a Flywheel in the Spec stage 1 kit, for the price I doubt it ? Mine is starting to slip on low revs high gear , on the car 80,000 miles now so cant complain I was thinking rebuilding the triple or get a Spec stage 1 , just hate the heavy pedal , rattle and pretty much everything about the triple plate so a no brainer plus the OsGiken would be my preference but its $$$ with the alterartion kit etc compared to the Spec, but then again you get a flywheel with the OsGiken.
