  1. Auto Glym HD wax is excellent , Super resin polish underneath or Chemical guys Black light and V7 Hybrid
  2. Maybe I am just being paranoid but latley in the last 2 weeks I notice she takes a little longer to turn over, normally she drops to 500 rpm once warm but she seems to be idling at 1K rpm and mabye dropping to 500 rpm after 30-40 mins It is periodic , maybe I am just paranoid
  3. Is there any difference in the two , or is it the same thing? Read a few articles on both and Water Meth seems to be more for teh tuner market and Hydrogen geared towards the haulage companies focusing on emissions and fuel economy. Both technologies seem to have similar outcomes maybe just different marketing propaganda for the same technology
  4. Darren mcNamara in MCN sport are the Irish agents for work wheels http://mcnsport.com/
  5. Thanks Dunk , to be honest mine always leaked since new (loose about 4-5 psi over 7 days) but then again I found the tyre fitter only had one rubber on the valve not two for each side of the barrel The other three tyres this time round seem to be retaining their pressures , I should of fitted the valves myself , I also read some guys put blue thread lock on the valves too , stop them loosing pressure over time
  6. Hey Put on some new tyre valves all round , one of them is leaking slightly about 1 psi a day The leak coming from the rubber on the stem of the valve Is it tyre off and re-tighten the valve with an allen key again or tiger seal the top of the valve? Maybe these valves are prone to leaking? http://www.hirano-tire.co.jp/rays/valve_09.jpg
  7. Hey Just wondering what others do, I have Volk GTC's refurbed , I didnt put the lacquer back on the polished lip but I did seal them with Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour I still seem to have Water marks in the lip I didnt want to use Autosol as the ammonium will remove the C5 Any tips or advice to buff them, maintian them?
  8. Stunning, I need to give my bay a clean when I get the under tray
  9. thanks Dunk , I have some here from Volk was just curious why some wheel companies supply plastic spigot rings when the shock load should be taken through the snout of the hub
  10. Not Liberty Walk but what I imagine they would do https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/t1.0-9/988457_10152854998799128_5375683758971126570_n.jpg
  11. Hey I would check out what these guys are running , I can ask Miguel , he ran the BN Sports Supra http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?101465-Miguel-Marini-BN-Sports-Supra-Pics http://www.themonkeylife.com/tag/team-driftmonkey http://www.speedhunters.com/2012/01/car_spotlight_gt_gt_2012_sats_supra/ http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/news/sats-motorsport-supra-drift-car-spec/
  12. Hey Chris Can I ask you a Q: Some people argue over hub rings are not needed , how can the the shock load go through the spacer as they are plastic is their argument What confuses me I see some use plastic hub rings but if they are plastic , obviously the shock load is not taken through the snout of the hub, they are just used to center the wheel and the studs take the shock load I presume plastic hub rings are a bad idea, and should not be sold either?
  13. Eamon , started it from cold and it was in it after 2.5k as per usual, he rev'd it 3 times and on the forth it went completely out of it. ???
  14. I think he is using Fuchs 15w50
  15. Could be , hopefully nothing too $$$ Everybody I know but one with a Skyline has had it rebuilt, generally last a few months from Japan here , scary! All OEM spec too Steven is the only person I know that bought one built with 650 hp by river tec racing in Japan and drove the nuts out of it , still going strong in Estonia lol
  16. Any idea's, my friends skyline started knocking after 30K Km engine rebuild It is making a knocking noise when cold from 2.5k-3.5k and goes away completely when its hot.
  17. Is anybody running the H&R DRM spacers, they are Bolt on (Part Number 5065601) Just want to check the The studs in the car's original hubs wont protrude beyond the outside face of the spacer Or how long are the Original studs? I am getting a 25mm spacer, so extending the front track by 50mm in total (25mm either side)
  18. Thanks Chris, Dunk , going to take a look at them again the weekend, The studs in the car's original hubs don't protrude beyond the outside face, but I will triple check again. Going to get the H&R ones for the front, I have ARP studs and slip on spacers on the rear
  19. I put 25mm spacers upfornt, I had 15mm, both project kics but they are not hub centric. In saying that they did balance the fronts before with these spacers but I might bite the bullet and get the H&R Hub centric spacers just to rule them out
