Out of curiosity Do these use a MAF & MAP sensor as modern engines use today or what is the setup or maybe car model specific? I read it uses a MAP and the OEM BMW M3 MAF sensor Cant find anything online Do OEM manufactures use VE tuning or pulsewidth-based engine management systems?

Rather than start a new thread , I see some of the new aftermarket ECU's to the market are using VE tuning Do OEM manufacturers use Volumetric efficiency (VE)) or pulsewidth-based engine management systems Is VE just propaganda to sell ECU's or are they taking on the latest OEM technology?

I had the pleasure of a passenger seat in Damien supra and it is like a go-kart , nicest handling Supra I was in I am running Super Pro upfront in mine and TRD Bilstein setup with TRD Springs , not too sure what springs Damien is using but it is alot nicer than mine , mine is crashy but Damiens soaks up the bumps alot better than mine , mine is trying to compete against them Only down side to getting the Super Pro setup is you will not be replacing the ball joints, I reckon mine are fairly knackered after 21 years so not too sure what is the compromise , maybe get new lower arms and Super pro others ( like the rear struts for example that dont use balljoints, just the bush) Hopefully Chris will be able to give us some advise , going all new OEM is $$$ , not too sure if it is a myth that the polyurethane bushes have a shorter life span than rubber

I dont think the would look nice , if I have to do it every 12 months so be it but be nice if something more hard wearing was out there So much for 5 year hmmerite guarantee

Anybody recommend any paint, I use the Hamerrite satin black but it has a short life span Have to do my bonnet grill vents every 12 months and i dont do alot of mileage

The sensor in the jspec tt OEM CAT is a Temperature sensor not an Oxygen sensor , just tie it up with a cable tie As Gaz said
