  7. W5w 501 LEDS are a straight swap into the OEM unit but if you want a strip of leds like the Golf , you will need to get them made up on a PCB board with a 501 fitting , I am sure Heckler can do it
  8. W5W wedge , loads on ebay , maybe try some SMD ones with 5-6 diodes http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=w5w+smd&_from=R40&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313&_nkw=w5w+smd&_sacat=0
  9. led wedge bulbs , I have in mine , fairly crap I did see somewhere on Japan Yahoo auctions a few years back a Line of LEDS with an OEM plug on the end like the ones you have there on Ebay
  10. Was looking at that clutch too , seen a few on here mentioned it Probably is made by the same people Just was thinking OsGiken, as their products get great reviews by customers , plus the OsGiken maybe a better choice for availability of replacement parts in the future Was talking to one of the guys on Supra Forums about the OsGiken and reason for replacing was my heavy Carbonetic pedal, he said happened to him and 7 other guys with the Carbonetic , he just had to re-grease the release bearing , might try that first
  11. Anybody have one or know of anybody with one? Looks like a nice bit of kit http://www.rhdjapan.com/os-giken-street-master-clutch-kit-twin-metal-hard-with-converter-kit.html

  15. Just some advise Currently thinking of the single route and may a 3.4 Stroker but I want to get the basics done first and if it means staying BPU for another couple of years so be it My car has roughly 100K miles on it , at want point do you do the Suspension, oil water pumps, valve stem seals; Tbelt and crank pulley are getting done thats a given Questions: Best to get all new OEM suspension of go the new aftermarket bush route and hope the ball joints hold out or compromise and bush some components and replace other (i.e. components with ball joints) At what mileage should you do the oil/water pump or save your cash and just wait for them to go ? if you have the engine out and they are easily accessible, sure you might as well Valve Stem seals , if I was for argument sake putting in cams for the single , best to so the VSS too? or just wait for them to go Any other advise appreciated , few guys have gone through this so just want to learn from their mistakes With regards a HKs T04z kit or GTX3582R ATI crank pulley damper or OEM? PHR oil pump or OEM?
  16. Might as well throw it in this thread HKS 3.4 Stroker I can get 60% off retail price , worth doing with this turbo ? GT3586HTA or GTX3582R
  17. You can, t51 kai and t04z are available off MVP Motorsports http://www.hks-power.co.jp/en/product_search/product/477 http://www.rhdjapan.com/search/model/toyota_supra/car/toyota/category/turbo-and-na-systems_turbo-kits/
  18. So Prices from OD We will be looking at the GT35 range turbos and for the best response the next generation Billet wheels, either Garrett’s GTX or our equivalent HTA. T4 single scroll v-band external waste gate turbine housing is fine. We recommend the 1.06A/R turbine housing size. 803715-5001S GTX3582R turbo with Garrett’s GTX billet wheel, ported compressor cover and turbine housing £1268.66+VAT 803715-5001S GTX3582R turbo with Garrett’s GTX billet wheel, ported compressor cover and turbine housing Including Metal Cages, Heat Shield, Conical Nut £1544.66+VAT GT3586HTA Garrett Housing T3/4bolt, T3/v-band or T4/v-band 86HTA Ported Anti-surge Shroud GT35 External £1,260.66+VAT GT3586HTA Garrett Housing T3/4bolt, T3/v-band or T4/v-band 86HTA Ported Anti-surge Shroud GT35 External Metal Cages, Heat Shield, Conical Nut £1,582.05+VAT
  19. Anybody recommend a place to get Polsihed cam covers with AN fittings and breather kit for reasonable $$$ Powerhouse racing stuff is really nice but crazy money From what I see the TwinsTurbo Supra doesnt use a oil catch can, just plumbs it back into the intake https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xfp1/v/t1.0-9/10689790_835833683107525_4199043231850280594_n.jpg?oh=d413ddb99c0869f6635bd4d90281e8ed&oe=54CDFEC5&__gda__=1418084428_22cefe9bf2cbaa68b85f68ab0c5cdef4
  20. Other benefit for me was due to mine being a widebody , the ikeya formula you can correct the roll center position
  21. I am just working out pricing on HKS + 35rgtx versus HKS T04z , I think you had the older 35r unit Nic but depending on price difference is there anything between the T04z kit and a 35rgtx? HKS did a good job back then but what I am asking do the latest turbo's or even kits improve on it From what I gather in the last 10-15 years turbo technologies are engineered towards responsiveness in the larger turbos (T78, T88), if you wanted over 600 hp you would benefit from the newer turbo technology with regards a reducing in lag. The Lowered powered units I am not too sure they benefit from the new technology , what I am trying to say is the benefit if any is not measurable to make a noticeable difference. Just my grasp on things
  22. Whats the better to get for a road car? Ikyea formula at least you can replace rose joints versus with OEM , you need to replace the whole arm in certain cases Will rose joints survive on the public road, the ride comfort be very harsh?
  23. Can somebody explain the difference between the below and advantages if any for a road car, price versus benefit thanks My taughts are one of these and a HKS turbo kit ot a to4z kit or a t51kai kit My goal is a reliable street setup with quick spool, a setup I can use in the real world on the street. I am not into chasing hp figures Garrett_GTX3582R Owen_Developments-Garrett_ODGT3582HTA MSpec Turbos
  24. you mean fullrace masterpieces lol 6Boost Manifold I heard is a good setup too If you can afford it I would just get a tried and tested kit like the HKS
