  1. That's the haltech authorised Ireland dealer I suppose I can go outside of Dublin without getting a plane or a boat
  2. wcp in Kerry are haltech authorised dealers so reason why I am asking about haltech , they did James deanes 2jz for last seasons drift events across uk Ireland and Europe , they must know what they are dOing as it ran 700hp all season , no issues ; Hks vcon pro is all good by me too Only other option is TDP but Robbie is the most rude arrogant person I ever met and I would question his ability to map a car based on other customer experiences and reliability issues plus he is €€€ , he hates toyotas and as a potential customer he has no problem letting you know it , I would not give him a dime, rather take the hit of the cost going to the uk Hks I would be extremely happy to use that ecu too
  3. Dublin of course, nothing else outside it exists lol except uk europe us and the rest of the world
  4. I mentioned the remote mapping to Ryan here , I read it , he can do full maps remotely http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?315878-New-Syvecs-2014-2015/page2
  5. Sorry just to add did the ECU come with instructions , what I mean is the some form of instruction indicating the ideal/recommended location for sensor X We should have a sticky on here for installation and remote mapping
  6. How did it work, did you rent a Dyno , internet connection , setup an online meeting with Ryan ? or I presume the ECU comes with some form or base map , you go for a few WOT on the road, email ryan the map and they tweak? Issue with me going t he UK is your fuel is better than ours
  7. Thanks Tony ! Looks like Ryan can remote map mine so I am good to install the setup The Haltech ECU is very Irish with regards prices to put it politely but if Ryan can remote map then its not an issue if he is in the UK , it is easier if you need support and the mapper is somewhat local
  8. Thanks , are these fixed prices or can they vary from getting direct from Syvecs or other agents ? What do most guys pay for the PNP kit all in , I am sure a few on here have the S6 at this stage
  9. Car is a Toyota Supra JZA80 (Zenki - 5/93-7/94) Eng: 2JZ-GTE Manual Syvecs S6 Just trying to figure out pricing with the Syvecs , what do I need ? I think I read Syvecs does not use an ignitor? (Please excuse my lack of knowledge) Haltech has two options , (Haltech Irish Agent) Haltech Platinum Sport 2000 ECU and Haltech HPI6 ignitor with a Haltech fully terminated 2JZ specific loom 3200 Euro Ex fitting or mapping Haltech Platinum Sport 2000 ECU and OEM ignitor with Patch Harness 2200 Euro Ex fitting or mapping Mapping is 350-450 GBP with no issues (Haltech Irish Agent), overall I think it works out stupidly expensive http://www.haltech.com/2j-2-go/
  10. Thanks , No EMU at the moment or injectors ; price depending I might hold off
  11. Thanks! Think I will be going with RHDJapan, should be ok - - - Updated - - - Really , ah crap , not good
  12. Did anybody get the Tomei Poncams in the end , looking at getting them for a BPU Manual stock ECU
  13. Had a chat there, and we are going OEM springs - - - Updated - - - Did they make a difference on stock turbos at 1.2 bar, worth getting? Found this its all good http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?279694-Tomei-Camshafts-for-Supra/page2&highlight=tomei+poncam
  14. thanks Nic, I am currently looking at the Tomei 264 PONCAM's as you can run them with OEM valve springs due to the higher lift or 9.5 versus 9 on the HKS But my tuner just text me to get uprated Valve springs , now its just getting $$$ lol
  15. Looking into ordering these, any feedback on the cams ?
  16. thanks, did you 256/264 cams with 35R turbo , I am going the same route with a 35rGTX - - - Updated - - - Cool thanks, Dude!
  17. Cool thanks , did you run different durations on inlet, outlet?
  18. Hey Is anybody running 256/264 cams on a BPU standard ECU Supra Installing rocker cover gaskets and UR cam pulleys , in prep for single but thinking of just doing the Cams too so I dont have to touch it again

  20. Thanks David, sorry missed your post - - - Updated - - - thanks again Sir Would you recommend any books on thus topic
  21. Thanks Digsy What does NVH stand for & L/R (sensible L/R harder to achieve)
  22. Thanks Chris , I find the topic fascinating especially when you start to add in Stroker kits and oversized pistons ; with the intent of changing the engine design from maybe undersquare, square to oversquare, depending on what you want it for. From what I am reading is it ideal to have a square engine , for the sake of simplicity if we just say for a road car or in an ideal perfect world? The benefits of a square engine is having a good balance between rod loads and ...(please fill in here ) ? - - - Updated - - - Thanks Dude!
  23. A better question might be , why it was not made an over square engine? (Short Stroke)
