  1. I paid £578 this year with everything, though I did have 1 claim in 2007 with a payout of 9K for my BMW.
  2. I guess thats not bad for 24 years of age and declaring any extra's.
  3. Just wondering what people are paying for insurance on a N/A Supra and a TT whats the difference £££'s. My insurance will need renewing in March/April and I may consider looking for a TT from that time. I will have 7 years no-claims (protected) Clean Licence (no points or convictions) Over 30 years of age I think I am paying a little too much this year but was not really fussed when I got the car.
  4. If I still have the car in the summer, there should be a full leather retrim fitted, just have not got round to doing it yet. I guess that's why I can get it done a little cheaper.
  5. Nice wheels. I have the same but 18's. Not sure if this helps but I found this thread. Might give you some ideas. http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=67732&start=0&p=648442entry648442
  6. Thanks for that...I know I have one somewhere...I think today was just one of those days! I did find a 14mm socket but the wrench was too big to fit in the gap, so there was no point carrying on, especially in the mood I was in, so I thought it was safer to just call it a day.
  7. I stopped the car straight away so I saved alot of potential damage, its only skin deep, just shaved the paintwork off ...it could have been alot worse.
  8. This has been the 1st time it has never started, it started yesterday... if it did start I could have just drove it out normally, but it's happened now, anyway and I am going to try and be positive about things to get it sorted ASAP. Just really disappointed coz I have taken such good care of it so far, then something stupid like this happens.
  9. Probably right, but when other people are around "trying to help out" something always seems to go wrong. I take part responsibility I guess for letting them near my car. Maybe a little impatient!
  10. At least the car is in the garage! May have to wait until next week to put the starter motor in now...provisonally booked a garage for next wednesday, still waiting for Mr T to phone me back. In the meantime I have time to make some enquiries about the spoiler and get it sorted ASAP, also two new rear tyres on the way once the starter motor is replaced.
  11. Its not as bad as the pictures look, I think the flash on the camera makes in look bigger, its about an inch long and a centimeter thick, bit of touch up paint would hide it, but thats not what I want.
  12. EXACTLY! I got onto the phone to Mr T and a local garage straight away to find out when either of them can do it because the way I am feeling right now I would not like to say what I might do! Thanks though
  13.:angry::angry: I was going to change the starter motor today as the car has been locked up in the garage for almost 2 weeks now. So I get prepared to take the car out to jack it up and it won't start so I had to push the car out from the garage. I am sitting in the car and my two nephews and my dad pushing from the rear with the boot lid open, as they pushed it out they did not realise that the spoiler was going to hit the garage door until it was toooooo late. It took a chunk of paint off and I am so angry and pissed off you could not imagine. I take so much care of my car and for something like this to happen is just beyond me, but typically of my luck. In the end I try to press on to sort out the starter motor and my luck just gets better...I need a 14mm socket/spanner and I only have a 13mm and a 15mm so I quit the job today and pushed it back into the garage. Instead of fixing a problem now I have another one and its so depressing. I hate it when other people are involved if I did it myself I could at least blame myself!
  14. My brother-in-law is a car trimmer/upholsterer and one of the best...he has been doing it for over 25 years, I was also invloved for quite some time, specialising mainly in BMW's. However we have done Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Classics and even had a contract with an import dealer about 8-9 years ago for Supra's and we did quite a few. If there is enough demand for new interiors, I will try to persuade him to start making interiors for the Supra again. But first I will be getting him (with my help) to do mine 1st. I used to do all the electric bits too and the ICE modifications
  15. Have a good one! Happy new year everyone, speak to you next year!
  16. Maybe....;)I won't be back until tomorrow. All the alcohol poored into my system tonight should keep me warm all day tomorrow in this cold weather.
  17. Have not been home yet, but I found out that I had a delivery today, which must be the Starter Motor...Thanks again Miko, will fit it as soon as I get a chance...and hope that this solves the problem.
  18. Sorry, I was estimating for a Supra. The Soarer is bigger and for all the other bits you want done, I would say upto £3000 for top quality leather and a top quality job.
  19. I would say anywhere between £1200-£1700.
