hi C$ sup please let me know how you over came the problem of the different size sealing ring of the jap and the uk bulb.i know you can modify the locating plug.but the problem is the different size rings,the jap appears to be smaller diameter than the uk bulb.

can anyone suggest where i can get a new dipped beam headlamp bulb for my jap spec.can you only get them from toyota maindealer.or i there a conversion i could do.

i have just bought the air/fuel meter from dawes-device,after seeing the manual boost controller which im also going to fit.i just need to know what colour wire to the ecu is the O2 sensor.

im about to fit an air/fuel meter and want to know to which oxygen sensor to fit connect it to,am i right is saying there is a rear and a front sensor.also what colour wire to connect to at the ecu from the sensor?

do you know what the ecu fault code shows,also is the light only only come on on high boost or hard acceleration.i recently had a knock senser fault.

i also had idling trouble with my car,but then spayed copiuos amounts of wd40 over both side of throttle and i must admit the idle seems fine now.

ill have to wait about a weekso probably be fitting next weekend.ill let you know. i did call back to change the order to 1 controller instead of 2.hoping that my car has the 1 wastegate line is this correct anyone?

so when i enquired about the dawes device boost controller i would only need one as there is only one wastegate is that correct,its just that the guy said i needed 2.

well i have a 3ltr tt has the car 1 or 2 wastegates im not sure,anyone please let me know.

actually i should of said the isc(idle speed control) valve.

i have a slight idling problem,sometimes it idles at 1k and then sometimes 650.i have checked all hoses ok,could it be the icv if it is is it possible to strip down to inspect? jap spec tt.

can some one give me an idea where to connect the hose from the boost gauge to pick up the vacuum from the turbos.is it worth fitting a cheap mechanical gauge or to fit an electronic one? my car is a jap tt:cool:

thanks for that advice,back the the idle problem i dont use any particular fuel,the engine performs ok when driving,but its after the engine has warmed up its as though the choke is partially on still,and sometimes the idle goes down to about 650 rpm and stays there.its not erratic idling.i have checked the hoses all appear to be ok.i have reset the ecu also.could it be the ISC ? how do i check this?

can some one tell me how to drain the rad and where is the drain plug on the rad? also im having idle trouble sometimes it idles @700 sometimes @ 1000 rpm.ive checked all the vacuum hoses all ok.ive fitted a bov hoping it will run better but still the same.
