  1. Scooter- Done deal. I will have the springs for £50 and pay the postage.
  2. How much do the springs lower? Would you be willing to sell the springs separately? Cheers Zippy
  3. Brendan, where you buying your paint mate?
  4. Hello All, Not sure if this should be in this section but anyway... I'm after some 202 black paint to spray my front bumper and a few other bits. Does anybody know a good supplier? Many thanks Zippy:blink:
  5. I've got a stock TT exhaust, Cat back. Down in Cornwall though. Cheers
  6. How much do you think postage would be for the lowering springs? Zippy
  7. Hi, Is there anybody with a 6spd TT near Falmouth? I have got quite alot of slop in my transmition with my new Sup and I would like to compare to another car. It's a while since I had my old one and can't remember if they are all like it. Cheers Zippy
  8. As homer said. The gearbox is ok, it's when backing off and the re-accelerating in low gears when the thud happens (without changing gear). From the posts it seems to me that it may be the fly wheel and worn diff. bushes. Will have a look under the car this weekend.
  9. It's not the box. I know the gearboxes are a bit clunky. It's the slop in the transmition that i would like to improve. Thanks for everybodys input.
  10. My last Supra was a 6 spd. Don't remember it being this bad. it was a while ago though.
  11. Any body got a fix, seems to be a few with this problem?
  12. Mine seems to do it all the time. If it is the diff. mounts how big a job is it to change them? Think I best get under the car and have a look around later.
  13. Can anybody help? I seem to have quite alot of slack in the drive train. Whilst backing off and then accelerating again in 1st / 2nd / 3rd there is a thud as the transmition takes up the slack. Also a bit of a thud when pulling away. It's a 6sp manual with 56,000 on the clock. Is there any way of adjusting this out or is it something in the diff. / mounts? I have done a search but cant find anything. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance. Zippy
  14. I have found a set of Tein S-Tech lowering springs on E-Bay. The add says that they lower 35mm front and 42mm rear! As the car rides higher on the front as standard is this correct or is it the other way around (35mm rear and 42mm front)?? Can anybody help? Cheers Zippy
  15. Hello People, I was wondering if anybody could give me the exact dimensions of the gearshift bushes. I would like to make some myself but would like to have a set made to do a swop. I know it's a long shot. Cheers Zippy
  16. I might be able to help mate. Just need a few more details of what you want, material & sizes etc. Cheers
  17. They are Mania Racing Vortex R's.
  18. I also have an add in the For Sale section (18" wheels with tyres). They are 8" +38 & 9" +38. They clear large breaks. I'll bump the add to the top of the list. Cheers
  19. I have just picked up my new Supra from Jurgen and have put my old 19's on. I now have for sale the 18's that came with the car. Fronts - 18 x 8J ET +38 235, 40, ZR18, 95W XL Rears - 18 x 9J ET +38 265, 35, ZR18, 97W XL They cleared the OME large breaks on my RZ so don't think there would be a problem on UK breaks. Wheels are in very good condition with slight curbing on only one, as shown in photo. The other 3 have no curbing at all. All tyres are brand new and have done 450 miles. All INDORADIAL 6688's. Not sure how good they are as Jurgen had them put on in Japan. They felt good on the way back from picking the car up. More photos of the wheels on the car can be seen in Jurgans web site under the cars for sale section. Pictures of new Supra will be coming in a new thread. Great to be back in a Sup;) £475 ovno.
  20. Hired a Yellow H2 Hummer in San Diago and drove to Vegas for the weekend. Horrible to drive there and back but great fun up and down the strip. Would have rather have been in a Supra though.
  21. I'll take it if it comes with instructions.
  22. I'm going to be waiting for mine to arrive, it's somewhere between Japan and UK. Unfortunately closer to Japan than here. Not that I'm counting the days or anything!!!!
