  1. Great day. Nice to meet the local members. Great burgers Brendan, thanks for the cooking.
  2. Alot of time, effort and money spent in so many wrong ways........ It could have been so good but never mind.
  3. Whats the chance of a full set for vents, fan controls etc? Thanks
  4. I have just got some from Toyota. About £15 each. There is a good fitting guide under the Technical section with part numbers. Zippy
  5. Same as in any car club, mixed bunch to be honest. You will find that most do think TVR's are the only good cars that ever rolled the roads. But also there are some great people as well. I went along my local monthly meet the other day and only 2 out of the 14 gave the Supra a second glance. If you join the TVRCC don't bother with their forum as it is used very little. It's all on Pistonheads, nice bunch on there really, loads of info. Remember buy as good as you can afford and get the car profesionally checked over. Could save you alot of money. Cheers and good luck with your search, They are a hell of a car.
  6. Had a Supra then a TVR T350t and sold that 6 months ago to get another Supra. The main reason was the arrival of baby. They are lovely cars to drive, a real event when ever you go out in them. Sounds and looks to die for. Everybody looks and want to chat about it. The main reason I sold was the running cost, you have to be prepaired for +-£3000 per year for servicing (yearly or 6000 miles) and general bits and pieces. You cant really do the work yourself as everbody looking for one wants the service history. You also need to be able to afford an engine rebuild if it so happens. I short, great cars but expensive. They can be fantastic but also do your head in. If you have got the money go for it. Spend many hours reasurching on Pistonheads (many, many, many). The TVR community is quite small and someone will know the car. Some nice people but a different from here. Hope this helps. Zippy
  7. Thanks everybody. All very exciting. Who needs sleep anyway!!
  8. Just Fantastic. Well done, worth the hard work and ££££.
  9. Feel for you mate. Had EXACTLY the same thing happen in my old TVR. To this day I couldn't tell you why it happened. Been around that corner 100's of times etc etc.... Don'tbe too hard on yourself. These things happen. It will be fixed.
  10. I am. A new mini member of the Supra community has arrived. Beatrice was born yesterday at 6.08pm. She is just perfect. Mum and baby doing brilliantly. Best start saving for her first Supra. Just want to tell everybody. Cheers Zippy

  15. Welcome. Good luck with the hunt for the Supra.
  16. Thanks Mooret but my shocks are fine I am just after springs... Bump
  17. I've got a TT cat back. It's down in Cornwall though.
  18. Thanks but looking for a full set. Cheers
  19. Hi, Anybody got any lowering springs? Doing lots of stuff to the Supra and I:rolleyes: am in need of some lowering springs. Will be just too much to handle if the paint is corrected, face lift indicators fitted, wheels on, de- spoilered, new exhaust fitted, bumper / boot painted and I have to roll it out of the garage still looking like a Hummer. (All done on a tight budget). Someone take pity and dust off those old lowering springs that you have and offer them up to me for £60. Could swop - pre facelift indicators, stock spoiler, standard cat back exhaust or 2 x 19" VW fitment wheels that happened to come with some tyres I bought of Ebay. Cheers Zippy
  20. TVR T350 / Sagaris. Kept mint will one day be worth a few bob.
