  1. So does it happen automatically when you take your private plate off? V317 form is not required to be filled in order to keep original number plate?
  2. Got myself private reg & just about to send Certificate of Entitlement to my local DVLA office. Question is - what happens with my existing plate? It does say on the back of the Certificate that it will be withdrawn. It is just normal L reg so I dont really require to retain it. But what is gonna happen when I sell this car & want to transfer my private plate? Would my L plate be "reserved" for my car kind of automatically or I would have to buy another standard L reg? Or shall I retain existing plate by filling V317 form to put it back in a future? Thx
  3. agree, not many but 18k is far too much imho unless you prepared to sit for another 1/2 year & wait for the right buyer also, I don't think that 6100 miles for 10 y.o. car is a bonus, I would rather prefer the car which were used regularly than "garage queen"...well my past experience says
  4. I'm Supra enthusiast as well, matey, otherwise I wouldn't be here But lets be realistic - the price of those cars is what somebody wants to pay for it If there were no offers above 20k it easily means that this car worth less. Simple supply & demand thing. No offence, just the facts. Me personally love the car but as I said to pay 18K for 10 years old Supe in current market...you should really have the reasons.
  5. TBH to pay 18-20K for 10 years old car which would continue to depriciate... it should be classic otherwise whats the point? without any offence but why 1998 TRD should be better & cost 8-10K more than normal 98 facelift tiptronic? personally don't think so bearing in mind it is stock 2-3k - maybe, but not 8k+ I would rather have 4-5 years old Maserati 4200 as an addition to my 2 Porsches for same money - more fun, newever car, better sound, maybe even quicker the only way Jap car which is 10 y.o and which is not classic can cost 18K is to be properly modified to run at least 600-700bhp with decent reliable mods otherwise I wouldnt offer anything above 12-13k, especially bearing in mind current economic climate, sorry

  7. if it was valued at £5k why would she only take £3k
  8. thx guys I thing I would give F1A a try especialy bearing in mind that I'm planning a trip to Germany The price sound attractive comparable to GSD3s as well (I think at least £200 cheaper for the set of 4)
  9. I currently have Eagle F1 GS-D3 but will require set of new tyres really soon. Does anyone actually use Eagle F1 Asymmetric ? They seems to be cheaper than GS-D3s...are they as good as GS-D3s?
  10. is the car still available? i've got a friend who might be interested it Single tiptronic but I'm pretty sure that stickers, rear wing and maybe even the bodykit would put him off - he would need to convert the exterior "back to normal" however single tiptronic is so difficult to get hold of that he might be still interested do you have any pictures of the interior and better picture of the engine bay? has it been de-limited? (I believe tiptronics have the problem going above 130, am I right?)
  11. never seen RHD Vette just googled it - yeap, there are some companies in the UK who does the convertion but I guess it would be very pricey as well can't be sure what sort of parts they gonna use for conversion also isurance & maintanace/repairs could become a nightmare after such conversion
  12. they are nice but don't think I can leave wz LHD on every day basis (even I cam from "LHD country" and my first cars were lhd)
  13. I found Porsche's rear seats have more leg room
  14. If I'm not wrong u can put a deposit (maybe "unofficial" one) for R35 by April but the even the price of UK spec is still not confirmed yet & waiting list is already huge I would rather wait till 2010-2011, see how it goes and buy a second hand one
  15. i deffo gonna be after R35GTR but realisticly speaking I don't think I can get hold of one before 2010-2011 i havn't heard anything re new rx-7 we are all waiting for new supra for at least a year now but it is still not there
  16. yeap. felt slow after TT nice car, I love the look...but not sure about the rest for 40k I would take one, for 60-70k don't really think so (my missus really wants one but I said her it is too much money for 2-3k miles u do per annum )
  17. i looked at it about year ago now they became very cheap & attractive however i should say if you seriously considering one - make sure you allow spare cash for maintanance, this V12 cost much more to mantain than V8s also the whole image of 456 is a bit dated - tipical late 80s early 90s "modern" design
  18. i love diablo, it always was my favourite car (late versions) however I want the car I can use...at least sometimes
