  1. I think the red ex-auction car has been discussed here and I've got impression it wasn't GZ, or am I wrong? Also they have different descriptions on eBay and PH. No photos of engine bay of the red car, ebay descriptions stated 223bhp. I am not set on colour as most likely it's gonna be a project with full respray. 'Carbon' roof worries me though. I've got photos with number plate etc. I think it is common now not to show number plate whilst advertising, at least I came across this v often with other high end sport cars
  2. Black GZ Aerotop, N-reg, BPU, 19" Jade-R alloys, not sure on the name of bodykit/front bumper I just placed a deposit, planning to collect next week. Dealer is in Bucks, Platinum Autos, near Princes Risborough. They said took it as p/x Interested if anyone know history of the car or it has been on the forum before. PM if easier
  3. Looks like they took the link off PH & their website Black GZ Aerotop, BPU, N reg, circa 90k miles, 19 inch Jade-R wheels Will post separate thread now
  4. near Princes Risborough, Platinum Autos is the dealer
  5. After 12 or so years since I sold my lovely nearly perfect UK TT, I decided to get back to Supra ownership and just placed a deposit on J-spec TT Aero. I feel I'd like to get the car inspected before fully paid as TBH I didn't buy 2nd hand cars for many years now, also I am crap mechanic Whom would you recommend for inspection? The car is in Bucks area, around 1hr drive from C. London

  11. I wouldn't touch drilled brakes, especially from eBay Brakes are not smth you want to compromise on Even grooved ones are not that good tbh compare to standard UK Toyota's. I've got 3G grooved on mine after my standard gone & tbh I think standard UK spec were better option with upgraded pads

    Supra is gone

I'm not after anything above T61 or equivalent if I decide to go this route. High end power is not the case, I'm after nice set up "street car" Don't want to loose tiptronic function tbh, got use to it with Porsches. I think there are not many single tiptronics in the UK at the mo, might have to check with Jurgen & try to import one However still concerned with box issues vs single power

    Supra is gone

My UK TT is gone to nice chap in France... never thought I gonna sell her but he approached me thru forum asking whether I want to sell her. After 2 weeks I'm still sad and not sure I've done the right thing despite he paid fair money for it & was extremely nice bloke. Seems like all UK TTs are gonna end up in France/Germany now. Still have my Cayenne TT as family car, sold my 996TT after couple of month ownership (wasn't that different from Cayenne apart handling tbh, that's why) so in position for another car now. Not in a rush at all, prices for a lot of nice cars dropped a lot so far, nice position to be in. However would consider another Supe, missing mine a lot but want nice Single now with decent set up. However I need either Auto (not sure I really want Auto single) or Tiptronic (have only heard about 1 tiptronic single turbo) Are tiptronics so difficult to go single? Mapping issues? I think the one I've seen been mapped by RyanG...
  14. Almost new, been fitted for 1 day & then taken off Collection from London, NW6 area or your own courier, can't be bothered to arrange courier myself tbh Offers as I have no idea how much it is worth as 2nd hand despite it is almost brand new
  15. I think £8k is a minimum for decent clean UK spec You can find some below £8k but either above 100k miles or cat d Look at my garage I might have mine for sale soon (havn't decided yet, not under pressure, can keep her for another couple of years) but it is way too god to let it go for below 8k
  16. if it was the same car I viewed it around summer 2006 it was a private owner, yeap don't remember how much was the asking price but deffo under £8K back in 2006 maybe it is different car tho
  17. normally Cat D means at least 20-25% off the market price however in the current market it could be more. BTW I think I might know this car, I almost bought it few years ago, it was exactly this colour & bodykit. However it deffo had retrim so can't say for sure That one was Cat D as well & that was the main reason which put me off, wouldn't really touch sports car with record unless it is very cheap (£5k seems to be expensive to be honest for Cat D) It also wasn't expensive when I've seen it 2.5 or so years ago...well below the price I paid for mine at that time...obviously if it is the same car
  18. I might be putting mine for sale, pic & spec in my garage, 89k miles, cream leather, very clean example. However I don't think I'll let her go for £7k, haven't decided on the price yet. Drop me a PM if you are able to increase your budget
  19. I don't think Supra would ever become a classic in the UK. Well at least for another 15-20 years. Unfortunately. Due to too many grey jap import brought to the country & due to too many cars were built in Japan. Normally classic car means production up to around 2,000. UK spec would deffo be a classic already if jap import was strictly prohibited
  20. May consider selling mine for the right price as it not get used because of my other cars. Full BPU, 85k miles, perfect condition, new rear tyres fitted last week. Pics & spec in my garage
  21. Ah, ok, thx a lot I thought in case of transferring private plate off the car the car becomes "plateless" & you're obliged to buy a new reg to put the plates on
