The second turbo is working, it comes in at 4k rpm. I´m on the same track as merckx, i will change the exhaust to a 3" coming weekend. Mickey: i will try the ecu reset idea.

I just installed my 3" frontpipe and the midpipe in the same dimension, the exhaust system is a stainless 2,5" powerflow it says on the mufflers.. The car is a japspec equipped with the mods above plus hks airfiltre, greddy bcc...But the boost wouldnt go over 0,9bar. What is wrong? i havent even installed the restrictor-ring between the pipes.. any ideas? its full flowing now bot the boost is only 0,9bar.. this sucks.

Do not just block the water pipes, i think that the idle control on the supra is controlled itself by the watertemp and the idle motor closes when the right water temp is acchieved.

one hose from the wastegate goes to a T fitting together with the other wastegate hose from turbo2, there is a additional hose on the first swastegate (the one nearest the front of the car) plug the top hose with a bolt, m8 should be fine.

is there a plugin on the japspec supra for a resistorpack or will you have to solder in i on the harness?

Hehe i just think that tuning a car by mounting on straw sized restrictions is wrong. But if it works then i guess that its fine. The goal for this year is to run a twelve sec run with my 6spd japspec that i bought in uk earlier this spring. Going singel turbo in -08 season

thanks for the explenation, i have a jspec supra and the parts are coming in but im not sure if i want to go the "restrictor way" Bud it seems that the only way is to swich to eurospec turbos and that is nothin i´m interested in. Going singel´in a couple of months. has anyone done any 1/4 mile times with bpu japspec? any twelve second times?

I got one now and i havent installed it yet with the dp and frontpipe, but ive read different stories about this mod, what performance advantages have you seen? im thinking of throwing this to the trashcan because it doesent seem smart at all installing a 2" restrictor on an engine who should develope say 400hp. any ideas about sorting this wastegate problem otherwise? and can someone explain this wastegate problem more accurate, i havent really figured out the problem yet, the explenations ive found here by searching are very thin.

Japspec TT 6spd supra lost the boost preassure yesterday when kicking ass on a streetrace, shifted to third and at the end of the third gear the boost vanished.. any ideas?

I had a restrictor on when i bought my jdm supra from UK it diden´t cut at all, I was driving maybe 160-165mph and no cut. However as soon as i removed the little box the speed cut appeared at 180kmh. I have got this gadget in the garage, if someone needs one it´s for sale, cheap.

a little OT what kind of performance can you expect with this mod? free flowing all the way and a RR.
