  1. Since putting in my indash dvd player, i've had an open half din in my dash. Finally got a pocket, so i pulled out the dash today and begun work. after putting in the pocket, I tried powering up the deck and nothing happens. I am assuming its a fuse problem, can anyone tell me where the fuse for the stereo can be found? Thanks

What's the best Electronic boost controller for a Supra with the stock turbos still fitted?
  3. Just fitted a greddy RS Bov on my car, it can be adjusted to require more or less pressure to blow off .... how do i know if I have the correct setting?
  4. Hi Guys, gonna start buying parts one by one for my single conversion. Question though, does the vvti use the same manifold as the non-vvt?
  5. Yeah ... I've hit the fuel cut once or twice .... so I know what that feels like ... once you hit it the cut and back off .... the car returns to normal ..... this time though ... no such joy ... the car car just bogs down once I reach the point where I should be doing boost. Should Mention that I have a Blitz FMIC installed
  6. Telling me I'm not doing any boost
  7. Was coming into work this morning .... hammered the car in second ... shifted to third .... and all of a sudden it bogged down.... let off immediately ... let the car role as I thought I had hit the fuel cut. Drove a lil further .... put the car in second .... and accelerate again .... as soon as it starts to come under boost ... it just bogs down .... spoke to my mechanic and he indicated that i had blown out an intercooler pipe. I have a 98 VVTi TT, do you guys think that his diagnosis is correct?
  8. Yes it is a 98 vvti .... thanks for the pointer re. knock Guess it can't hurt putting in a bottle per tank then
  9. oh... and where it pertains to cost, the sup is not daily driven
  10. My car is at BPU. My reason for asking is that ... out here I THINK we have 95 ron fuel and therefore I was interested in determining whether there was any additional performace/safety to be had
  11. Guys, Are there any adverse effects to putting a bottle per full tank? Thanks
  12. lexus bolt? What's that?
  13. Thanks guys. Once there are no negatives to putting in one of these, i'll have it done at the next oil change
  14. Yup, it's on the oil filter sandwich
  15. Just Intalled an oil pressure guage in the sup ..... crusing, I get 40-60 PSI .... however, when I stamp on it, the guage locks at the max reading - 100 PSI What numbers should I be really looking for?
  16. Has anyone used these? Is there any point to it?
  17. Not encouraging /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_oops.gif
  18. So, how did you go about solving these?
  19. Was looking through a Apexi S-AFC manual and it lists the 2jz-vvti as one of the engines it can work with. Somehow though, I remember reading on here that using the S-AFC for tuning on a vvti is not possible. Can anyone refresh my memory? Thanks
  20. Yes mike, they are binding ... slowing me down and heating up ... thanks though, next time this happens ... i'll check the calipers
  21. Hey Guys, Had my sup parked for a while (6 months to be exact) doing some minor body repairs and upgrades. Drove it a few days ago .... and noticed that after drivinf some distance, the brakes remained pressurized; meaning that the pads continue holding the disc and the pedal was really hard with absolutely no play The only modifications i've done brakewise is that I replaced the pads and installed steel braided lines. Any advise on what my problem could be would be really apreaciated. Thanks
  22. hey guys, what kind of grease do i feed into the nipple of the polyurethane bushings on my TRD sway bar?
  23. Thanks mate, can you reccomend a particular kit?
